Small unit tactics in Single player? Hmm sounds great. Cause at some point in Dow I Single player you weren\'t too much interested in building bases...
A game interface like Jagged Alliance would be nice. But not so static. I loved they way you could conquer the area, leave guards and explore the islands.
Perhaps they make it some way like that W40K game on PSP/DS, just a bigger and more sophisticated version, which would also be cool.

from people who have played the first game how do you get more squads or units? i have never played DOW1 but this one has really caught my eye along with starcraft 2 which also looks awesome 
You mean how DOW1 Game System worked? Basically the new idea then was that you didn\'t need any stupid unit thats gathering ressources at some place...like peons or harvesters.
You simply have to hold strategic points, which you can built up to gun turrets (depends on side). So the better you are on map and the more strategic points you own the more points you can use on units.
Only thing left is that you have to built energy buildings.
Another great thing is that you built squads which start somewhere arround 3 and you can built more units in your squads (normally up to 10) and add Special units to your squad. When you get under fire you can rebuilt units in the middle of combat. But if fire is to heavy your squad will get killed before you can rebuilt.
Thats the main idea and it makes game faster and with more action....

one of the things that seems appealing is that there appears to be no option to \"rush\" like you can in starcraft in that with a proper zerg rush you should have one within 2 minutes or less, most other rts games are like that, in empire earth for example everybody uses korea or egypt (not sure about egypt its been a few years since i played). Is this correct?

I find it kinda hard to believe a corperate venture like GW would overlook something that\'s obviously going to be a real money spinner. I hope they do actually release whatever it is they\'re working on, I reckon I would deffo be intent on seing it!
