How do you like the mini? I want to get some of the Arcadians of that game. Did you get it off eBay or go to their site?

I'm always up for some battle damage. ^_^
Looks great, I like the stylized look, the gun really sets the mood.

Thanks WGS! Digga, I love them but they are a little small and some of the weapon designs are little wierd. Originally picked some up from CMON to use as generic SciFi mini's in or Diaspora campaign. Of course, by the time I got them painted we were no longer playing Diaspora... They are pretty small and have some weird details that are borderline sculpting errors. Like this lady's pants are sculpted to look sort of like armor on the front and then are like tights on the back. As i said earlier, when I have painted these before I have gotten lost. For example I have gotten done painting a bare arm only to realize that the other arm has a short sleeve on it..

I love the way they look. Sort of anime, but not too cartoony. Very "Ghost in the Shell" or even "Cowboy Bebop" looking. Plus the rules are basically free, though I have yet to play a game.

I picked a bunch more up at a swap meet. When you are at the swap meet look for the grumpy guy with a bunch of half painted models! He gave me every thing he had for like $40, 30+ figs, most on secret weapon type bases or still NIB! Some were already primed with some frost. This one is is one of those. I tried simple green but no go and didn't feel like dealing with acetone.

Very very nice. Yeah there is something I refer to when and artist hits a really well done accomplished project. All else after it seems to take on much more amazement. A sudden I crease in skills for all your work. I call it " THE ZEN SNOWBALL EFFECT" BASICALLY ONCE THE PRIZE DIORAMA has been created all subsequent projects ARE suddenly done with superior GREATNESS!!! Hence is the theory of the zen snowball.

I like it!

Well done! The gun seems especially well handled, the metallic sheen is subtle but really convincing. Gotta love the hair, too. Seems like a tricky model and you really made it shine. I'm glad to see someone with affection for Infinity models, there are some real gems in there. And I'm not a huge gamer, but I played a demo of it at Gencon and now I have the Tohaa starter as well as the ALEPH I already own...

Thanks Sionid, Now I just need to figure out some futuristic litter to put on the base and call it a day. I was kind of thinking about printing out some tiny newspaper pages and putting them on there, but I am not sure they will have newspapers in the far future.

What a nice, clean paint job. Really shines well on the gun and armor. Those parts came out the best. Like I said earlier, the face doesn't invite a great paint job, but you found a way to give it one anyway with those subtle additions. Have to admit that I don't care for the mini or the green hair, but that is simply a matter of taste, and not a reflection of any technical shortcoming. Wanna see you do some SteamPunk in the near future. Maybe some Guild of Harmony figures? Or I've always thought you'd do great at one of the Scibor Sci Fi figures. What's next?

Thanks guys! Have to get some better photos up for y'all. As for what's next... I have couple more of the Infinity Panoceania Fusiliers on my desk and now that I have my formulas down I can paint them some what quickly so that is what i am doing at the moment. I am also pretty far along with some of the Rackham dwarves so I need to finish one or two of those guys.

Then, my next bigger project is going to be tackling the Annual Reaper Forum Contest again. This year it is "giants" so I picked up a reaper giant and I am going to start putting him together. I had a really good time doing it last year (even though i got skunked..) so I want to do it again this year. I also want to do a WIP on the Reaper forums because everyone is so nice over there. When did everyone on the internet become so nice?

Here's the giant I got:

View attachment 31289

He's about 6 inches at the eye. Not the most exciting sculpt in the world but he has some cool stuff going for him (her?) The pose of the skull is fantastic. Totally looks like a screaming animated skull. not too cartoony not too stylized, just right. And skeletons are fucking awesome! Ten-Balls Skeletons on the base of his Green Knight and Crackpot's necromancer dio both got me fired up for some animated skellies. Boubi and Zab's recent water bases got me fired up for water then I thought about water bases and skeletons and Ray Harryhausen Sinbad immediately popped into my head so I new I was on the right track!

I am going to do a little converting. Redo the weapons and adjust his pose a little and do a big ocean cliff scene with him guarding some half submerged ruins with a wrecked ship and stuff

Yup, looking forward to the conversion. The model is looking interesting as it is.
