I made the mesh leaves out of speaker grill from an old portable CD player and some aviation snips. as you snip the metal it gives the piece you cut off a really nice curve. I made the leaves on the tentacles with it too after being inspired by a tomato vine. I need to make some Aleph infinity bases or something with that mesh. Maybe Techno Tiraniyds? Or like, Dark Tau I'll try and type up a little SBS on the tentacles and mesh. It was really easy.

I've stolen speaker grills from work for the same purpose!

I got you it's done..one of your best pieces technically and conversionwise...it kinda is making me mad that the score is where it's at...I really want to push for a system that forbids folks to vote without posting their name and their score....then and only then can we see these morons for who and what they are....this is why denny was upset.

Thanks BAM, Yeah I think this would do a lot better if it wasn't in the contest, but whatever, I expected this to happen. Hopefully it will get a few extra votes from being in the contest that are better as well. The more I paint the less the CMON scores matter to me, but I think this is a solid "8" at least...

Gave her a slightly partial 9, I'm more bummed by her low score than I am about my owns, wish to see her do well because that's the kind of creative thinking I wanna see more of.

Some technical stuff I could spot: The blue freehand doesn't appear like it is subject to the same lighting as the fabric around it ( Not everywhere at least.)
The ample breast look a bit too reddish (just a bit) and would benefit from a further degree of shading closer to the collar between the breast.
The glove would need more definition and something to make if obvious these are glove and not botched skin tone.
