Matty, now that you have made your choice I hope you make the most of it and travel as much as possible
I have spent the last 32 years travelling around the world seeing things and doing things most people would only dream of (including the nightmares) and enjoyed every minute of it even looking back at old relationships and even a failed marriage pale compared to the sites and places I have seen and apart from the odd down moment I wouldn\'t change a thing, given the chance to do it all again I would not even have to think of the answer.
In 2 years time I have to look for another job and leave all the travelling and security behind but what the hell that is 2 years away yet and I\'ll worry about that in 18 months time
Get out there and enjoy yourself
I have several options open to me at the moment, not sure about the contracting route yet haven\'t given that one a lot of thought but there are several options open to me within the defence industry/related companies that people keep telling me the companies would snap me up. Once I leave another option is Facilities Management, if I want to be around the London area then I would be looking at £38k plus my pension and that is just a starter.Originally posted by steelcult
With your experience there\'s always contracting.

Jazz, give it a rest mate. Seriously, you sound like a pastiche of a cliche of an outmoded way of thinking. I was expecting the Hovis advert music to play as I read your post.
