Yes guns kill but its the asshole behind the trigger that is the problem. That\'s like saying McDonald\'s makes you fat. Use common sense and and you\'ll keep from killing anyone and keep the waist from becoming a spare tire or three.

Heheh, reminds me of a Gary Larson calendar I saw....I don\'t remember it exactly, but....

1499-The National Crossbow Association is founded. They release a statement declaring that \"Crossbows don\'t kill common folk, common folk kill common folk.\"

In Australia they outlawed guns and the crime rate skyrocketed. It has been said \'an armed society is a polite society\'. Wahington DC is the murder capitol of the US. Guns are illegal there. The problem is in our hearts. There is a higher calling.

What, bigger guns?

Yeah!! Then, logically, we\'ll be even politer! Man, I\'m a genius! I mean, there\'s no way you\'re gonna insult a man with a rocket launcher! Ahh, what a utopian society....

Higher calling???????? Yeah. It\'s that politically incorredt thing called right and wrong coupled with personal responsibility. As long as we keep misdiagnosing the problem and simply focus on the tool of evil rather than the evil that exists in all of our own hearts the problem will continue and expand. Also that other arcane thing called accountability to God. Withouot a knowlege of ultimate accountability then literally anything goes.

Whoa - I am staying well clear of the debate here. Just wanted to say that, in looking at the list that was posted of all Dimebag Darrell\'s accolades and awards, the ones from metal magazines were all what I would think of as mainstream. Which got me thinking that, even though they (Pantera) were a very popular band that appealed to that crowd, many people who are into more of the extreme underground stuff also liked Pantera - which is quite an accomplishment I think and says alot about their talent.

Unless you are sat in a big fat tank??

...or have satellite support, or a rail gun or a mate in a F14:flip:

However, I counter your tank with a nuclear bomb! Of course, to maintain a polite society, everyone would need to own a nuclear bomb, which basically brings us back to square one. With all the nuclear weapons floating around today, you\'d think that we\'d be a bit nicer. :)

Here\'s a handy link for you do-it-yourselfers....How to build an atomic bomb

I\'ve been putting it off for a while, but a kid at school says he knows how to get some plutonium for me, and mom is fine with me doing it in the garage, so it looks like my plans for world peace are coming together.

I really was never into Pantera back in the day (Had a roommate that loved them), and I only know Damage Plan by name.

What a shame about DB Darrell. It\'s just wrong. Crazy \'fans\'....

(Download Pantera\'s cover of Black Sabbath\'s \"Planet Caravan\" - for a non-fan, that\'s a schweet cover!)

Just for anyone who isn\'t now aware... Dimebag is NOT dead, it was a prank by the band.

On gun control, the majority of guns in the hands of criminals in the US are stolen from people who lawfully own them. Yes criminals can get guns just about anywhere but it\'s very hard if they are not generally available in that country. Most of the \'gangsters\' in the uk use handguns which are just as likely to blow up in their hands.

I could go on on this subject, but i\'m going to put it down and walk away, i won\'t mention the statistics about gun owners being more likely to shoot a friend or relative than an intruder, nor will i comment on the state of perpetual fear within the US itself... No i\'m just gonna walk away

More an aquaintance. He used to jam with some other local guys, Dan Dietriech and Slime Williams but I hung out with Slime\'s younger bro, Justin. We have met numerous times however, in Innisfail, and even bars in Nanaimo, and other places. He jammed once or twice with us years back. Wicked drummer, wicked guitarist... great guy. Always used to bum smokes off of me though :D

I always was a fanboy at heart :p

Probably the best drummer I\'ve ever got to play with. I am so happy to see his career took off like that. He always had tons of drive & talent, but being a nice guy in the rythm section bis is critical and probably got him even futher. No one likes a bitchy little person backing you up.
I\'m gonna run out and get his album toolol
