Having received a few discontinued GW paint pots from a friend (cool old hex pots.) I was curious if there are colors out there that people really like but can no longer buy?
Didnt\' you get a yellowy kind of tint with your flesh wash?Message original : Avelorn
The washes were nice, I thought. Flesh wash especially.
Hum ... intriguing. And what did you use it for then? If it\'s anything else than wood, this might be the greatest revelation of all times ... or notMessage original : Avelorn
Yeah.. but I never used it for flesh! lol

@ tidoco: OK, I understand Ghostly grey as a base for white (loved that one), but for red?!?!
You do mean as a second basecoat over black, right? RIGHT??
Tee hee, I still got a pot of Green Ink, use it for a final glaze on Orc Skin... New Dark Green Ink is fine for \"quick\" orc skin, just slap onto white basecoat, drybrush goblin green... not that I would do such a thing.
Well, I miss beaten copper (not that I did much with it), and pallid flesh, too... painting elves will never be the same...![]()

If ever there was a shade between Codex Grey and black, I have missed it. I\'ve had to mix my own whenever I need a dark steel grey.
