Does anyone else enjoy these?

I have recently discovered smoking cigars. I was wondering if there are any other painters who like them. I think Steelcult has a smoke or two. So far I have tried H.Umpman, Romeo Y Julieta (very nice), and Balmoral.

I received three Don Tomas for my birthday last week. I haven’t tried them yet.

I also have a late gift coming from Guatemala. My friend’s boyfriend has family working there. They are sending me some more Cubans. I am looking forward to that package.:)

Does anyone else enjoy a cigar every once in while?

they are good with a pint tho, just letting the flavour roll around your mouth.

one day i\'ll treat myself again :)

Yeah. They are a bit expensive. But I can get a Balmoral for $6.90 US in regualr Korea. In Itaewon (the foreigner section of Seoul) they go for $7. Balmoral was just introduced here in Korea. They seem to be taking off. Koreans didn\'t like cigars years ago. That is the story I was told. No, the younger guys seem to be enjoying them.

My first cigar was an H.Umpman with a glass of Armagnac. I bought the cigar and my father in law made me stop while he bought me an Armognas. It was so nice. Rome y Julieta are still my favorites.

A good beer is nice with it too.:)

Ahh the last civilized pleasure left to man - a good cigar.

If you can get them over there in Korea try a Cohiba (Cuban) vs a Cohiba (Dominican). I find the Cuban a slightly sweeter smoke.

However, in general I prefer Dominican tobaccos over Cuban tobaccos.

As disgusting as smoking is, at least cigars smell ok. I\'d probably have one to celebrate a wedding or the birth of a baby...

(Or in a poker game lol)

PS. Anyone here smoke a pipe? :D

Once a year, I\'ll treat myself to a Montecristo #17... $80 cigar.

Otherwise, I\'ll stick with regular cigarettes.

Yes actually. I\'ve got 3 Merschaums, two Petersons, and a Cabrini - and a whole mess of dollar bin pipes.

Hulla Girls, out of Hawaii make for a good smoke. Abit sweeter than your normal smoke, made of Cona <sp?> leafs (coffee leaf if I\'m not mistaken). That and there is a website that has it\'s own brand, and of course I cann\'t think of the name at this moment :cussing:

Ah yes the old pipe - I have a fair collection myself:
3 meerschaums
2 Tsuges
Several Italian brands
But my favorite is by far my petersen.

I haven\'t been able to get my favortie blend of black and blonde cavendish for awhile though as the store that mixed has gone under.

Yeah, I have a few pipes, a cool bubbler, and a couple killer bongs, man.

Don Tomas\'s are nice. Not the best I\'ve smoked, but they smoke well. I don\'t smoke anything anymore that ain\'t green, including cigars. Any nicotine will probably get me back to craving cigarettes, and I like not being a smoker just fine.

I would smoke the green stuff too over a cigar. But cigars will not land me in jail. lol

I tend to like cubans more. I don\'t know if its growing up in American and they being forbidden fruit. But I like them.

I have always wanted to smoke a pipe. Its just looks cool. lol

I have seen some nice high end cigars I would loveto buy. But I can\'t bring myself to paying $80+ dollars for them. I once made a commetn about paying that much for a bottle of wine and the wife went nuclear. lol

Yeah, thats why I stuck to $50 a box Fuentes while I was overseas - the higher dollar ones are nice, but for a good day in day out smoke the Fuentes were fine.

I prefer the Drew Estates cigars. Acid Kubas are my faves. I gotta chew a good cigar for a few hours before I light that sucker up.

Nothin\' like a good stogie and some fine brew in the company of friends.

I bet you have had some nice Cubans. The Dominicans you tried sound like fun.

A wise Korean gent once told me, \"You should smoke anything that has been rolled in inner-thigh land.\"
