\"DOOM\" the movie

I am semi-excited about Doom coming out on the 21st. I would be absolutely thrilled if the Rock was not in it and if the story line actually stuck to the game but whatever. I am still looking forward to it though.
Anyone else have some thoughts about it?

I\'m gonna give the rock a chance, i\'m sure it will be great whatever, although i hear the storyline won\'t be on par with the game (though quite similar) the trailers certainly got the blood running

One more thing to add....the FPS view sequence looks great. I just hope it is more than 5 seconds of chainsawing fun.

Anyways, The Doom movie looks pretty interesting, although if they dont make it dark and evil i would not be interested, also i have not yet seen any pics of the \"aliens\" i am curious to see how well they have done them.

Doom is gonna be retarted....but knowing this, I do want to see it...mostly because of the Rock. Anyone who says he isn\'t a good actor obviously hasn\'t seen The Rundown.

It does seem a bit strange that the Doom movie is not set on Mars, as all the games have been.

BUT...Doom is all about creepy fun, scary monsters and things getting shot up. That can\'t possibly screw that up, can they?

Huh, I didn\'t know it wasnt gonna be on Mars. Are you sure, I saw the preview before Serenity and I swore it said Mars.

i work for universal pictures and get to see most of the movies ahead of time.
the movie is pretty #!$@ing good.
the fx are good and the rock gets to be a darker character.
let me put it this way just sit down, shut up, eat your popcorn, close your mind and enjoy the ride.

Well, the creepiest/scariest monsters are also the ones that are most human... but not too human. There\'s something deeply disturbing about the warped or distorted human form, moreso than the slimiest, toothiest fantastic creature.
