Drinks anyone?

Well, I got a vodka tonic recipe from a friend here, but it was kind of bland. So I started using Vanilla vodka and that was pretty good. Unfortunately, I ran out of vanilla vodka and had to make up my own drink for this evening. Currently, I\'m drinking regular Stoli vodka, Kahlua, and cream. It\'s actually pretty good.

So, what drink are you drinking tonight OR have you made up that\'s actually turned out potable? :cool:

Nope...

...just plain \'ole Kahlua and fat-free half-and-half. (Ran out of Bailey\'s already :D)

So, Shawn, what\'s your favorite drink?

I\'m not a big hard liquer fan but the two I mentioned I really enjoy. I do like GOOD port and a semi sweet zinfandel.

well I\'m having my normal, Vodka Tonic, HOWEVER, in celebration of my new house, we\'re drinking Grey Goose tonight ;)

Ohhh - so do I!

Had a fabulous tawny port with friends, but can\'t remember the name of it. We have a 4-5 bottle supply down in our wine cellar (i.e. basement! :D)

I can\'t stand chardonnays, but I\'ll drink any \'ole white zin there is.

My family has 10 acres and a cabin in So. Indiana and there\'s a winery not far from there. Scott/Grumb and I make a trip there every time we go up. They have AWESOME sweet wines (cherry, raspberry, etc.), but their other wines suck! It\'s funny - they have a \"red table wine\" which is really too sweet to drink with dinner, but is great as a dessert wine.

I really like guertzerweiner (sp?), but theirs was awful. (For dinner I really like a cabernet saugvigon -sp?)

@Eric - sorry didn\'t see your post earlier

Had a Grey Goose vodka tonic this evening, but it wasn\'t as good as a vanilla vodka tonic. I guess I just like my drinks sweet! :D

a Car Bomb is a half-pint of Guiness and a half shot of Jameson Irish Whiskey and a half shot of Bailey\'s Irish Cream.....drop shot glass in Guiness and down.....

It dosent get ya right away but about 10 min later your in your happy place :D

Sounds good except for the...

...Guinness - sorry, I can\'t stand beer of any kind. All the other stuff sounds Fab though!

LP when you gonna be in Atlanta so we can party together? :flip::bouncy:

P.S. Now I\'m really starting to buzz!!

and Sturmy\'s not even here to enjoy it. He\'s probably passed out somewhere. Eric - check the Freak bar and see if Sturms passed out on the bathroom floor. :D

actually, you can\'t really taste the Guinness....the mix kinda takes on a flavor all it\'s own....and since you down it, you don\'t really taste a whole lot of anything.

It\'s my Irish drink of choice:D

when I had some friends leave my old station I got a bunch of the guys and few girls to do a round with me....everyone actually liked it, even ppl who don\'t like Guiness or beer....if LP and I ever were there, you\'d have to try one :p


and if you still had Bailey\'s we\'d also suggest vodka, Bailey\' and butterscotch snapps in about thirds.....or as well as you could measure at that point lol

If you were both ever here I\'d definitely give it a try! Especially if I\'d had this much to drink. Geez - it\'s taken me three or four times to try and type this correctly!! I\'ve had waaayyyy too much to drink!!! And I just ran out of fat-free half and half.

Any suggestions on what to have next?

a corona with a pinch of salt and a slice of lime....yummers!

No more \'hard stuff\' in the house....I could break out the Champaign from my wedding day....of course that was in 1989, but it is still in the fridge?? That stuff doesn\'t spoil does it?

of course, I haven\'t clicked on the link yet! lol I\'m assuming I\'ll be able to find a decent drink on it! Lord, the room is swaying! :D
