Hmm I liked it most without a face plate, when you could see the pilot. maybe you could make something seethrough??

Colored pleksi or whatever

I like the new face plate but still think that the body is too slim around pec/sholder area, either bulking that up or brining the head closer to the body would help alleviate this problem

A great idea and I have been watching your progress but felt there was nothing worth while I could say until now. One suggestion I\'d like to make. I sculpt a lot of minis and sometimes chest to head ratios get difficult when your trying to make helmets that come off or open etc. You forget that something needs to be slightly bigger and it makes the head seem just slightly to big. A great fix is to add some shoulder paulundrons, or shoulder armor. Your titan would look great with some of that chest armor look layered over the shoulder joints and would help out with the torso bulk without adding any actual bulk. Just make a quick moock up of 2 pads and place them on, squint and you will see what I mean.

Thanx for the tips, guys.
I will make shoulder plates and, even though it is not shown, I have made the rocket launchers on the shoulders, and believe you me, the head kind of dissapeared, so it is couterbalanced.

Anyhow, here is a pic of the face mask, with the face details.

ASAP, i\'ll show pics of the latest stages:

here are the pics:

In one word: WOW! Have been checking your posts for a while, seeing how you really take up the great tips from everyone and adjust this project. Good work.
Here\'s my 2 cents: The new pose really looks much better than the last, but since you did nothing to the position of the arms, it still looks like it is tightropewalking, and trying to find it\'s balance. Perhaps you would do better to position the (lower) right arm (seen from the model itself ;) ) more towards the torso, facing to the front, as if standing ready in a fighting position?
It may look a bit more \'comicy\', manga if you will (like an earlier post also mentioned), but it really gives the model speed, strength, and action!

Here I am, again, with new updates.
I added the rocket launchers on the shoulders, and the jet packs on the back:

On Sunday, I also started working on the back fins. At first, I cut them out of 2mm plasticard, but not only I did them too short, but the 2mm plasticard (which is a hell to cut) is too thin, and dissapears with the model, especially if seen from the front.
So, as usual, I searched within my office stuff, at the firm, and I found those pencil-mine holders (thos for mechanical 0,5 mm and 0,7 mm pencils). The section of these is very unusual, as it is flat in the bottom, and rounded at the top; even the length is right; plus I will sculpt the pointy fin detail, to the end.

And here is a sneak peak (actually, a moc-up) of the Titan, with back fins, still attached with white tac paste.

Ooh, almost ready for jets and shoulder pads! Looking good, the newest version of the head is nice and the addition of the rockets has balanced out the mini a lot.

The model is fairly finished: all I need to do is sand here and there, add some wireing (in the hips and the neck) and loads of tedius gems.

here are the pics of the finished (almost) product:

Just to keep your eyes buisy, until I start painting the titan (I still have to make the base, and add some details, so don\'t hold your breath), I will post some WIP pics of another project of mine: an Eldar Vampire Hunter.

These models will become part of my new born eldar army, I will use for Apocapylse only, and I will create a Scorpion Type II, as soon as I finish this superheavy aircraft.

It all started with this:
a cardboard aircracft, to get the hang of the general shape, to make the templates (btw, using only the pics taken from the FW site):

And, after de-assembling all the cardboard model, and copying the templates on plasticard, it became this:

and this is a reference pic, using a Vampire Raider pic, taken from Imperial Armour 2006:
