Yeah I just noticed that. I think it is the picture ??? because I have been looking at this mini for the past couple of weeks and I do not see anything wrong with the highlights ???

or... maybe I just refuse to see errors in my madness   :drunk:

That looks amazing! :]

I saw the other Ravenwing guy of yours a while ago, and I was impressed! This guy is even better though. The scratching on the helmet and the stone effect on the crozius are magnificent. Fantastic stuff

Cheers

Looks like great work, big improvement on the helmet.
Since you are painting the bike separately remember to pin the chaplain in place as any glue will only hold it on as strong as the paint adhered to the model.

God I hate You! <joking> lol

I have tried 3 times and failed 3 times to paint my marines like that and you nail it.

Looks great, base looks great and i just love the black armour, i just cant get my black anywhere close to that standard.

you will have to share how you do it, if you dont mind :)

love this mini and cant wait for next update

Ok..... whooohoooo!!!!............

I am almost done with this baby. I worked on it last night and tonight and only a couple of things are left.

The headlight, the bolts inside the bolter mag, the back holes on the exhaust, the buckles on the utility box, and the weathering on the bike itself is all that is left. I will be doing that tomorrow and maybe on saturday after I take some finished picks it will be up for voting so all of you nasty CMoNers can shred it apart ...

Thanks everyone for all the suggestions, I hoped o have more people visit this thread, because 100 heads is better than 20...??? thats not how it goes :( but, anyway I really appreciate everyones help and comments on this horrible mini that will soon be finished. The personal thank you\'s will come after it is posted...

blah, blah, blahh I am tired of typing now, here they are........

Yeah, I know the right throtle grip is unpainted..... the chaplains hand goes there that is why I only painted the corners that might be visible.... now continue....

SImply amazing!!! I think this is the best bike I\'ve ever seen. So many little details. Were you going to put something on the top of the gas tank? It looks like it with the arrow you painted.

So now you have your work cut out for you for all the other bikes and landspeeders....

Yup. No the arrow and the text on the tank is my local stores inside joke. It points at the groin.....but not really. I dont think anyone here would get it.... But thanks for the comment...

*edit*< It is on my Master and will go on all of my bikes> *edit*

You are doing an excelent job on the bike, and most specificaly on the chaplain, maybe you could post a side by side picture of your commander and the chaplain together to have a much better idea of how your ravenwing army would look when completed.

keep up the great work!!!!

Bike looks great, like the base alot too. I feel some of the free hand lettering (crux) let\'s it down a little, the free hand wing motif on the front mud guard is of a much higher standard.

I\'m impressed with this especially as I\'ve just prepped a marine bike myself. One thing I did find is that I had to cut a slit on the seat to be able to pin the marine as mine didn\'t want to slide into the seat properly with his pin attached.
The other thing (and I\'m not sure if it\'s too late) would be to drill holes in the exhausts, which I see you\'ve done for the bolters. Great freehand on the front as well.

You are so right. You know, this is why I thimk a lot of people should post their WIP\'s here. I did not think of it too seriously until you said something about it. I will work on that and should be posting again soon, Saturday sometime in the afternoon sound about right.

@everyone else: Thanks for all the comments, it makes me feel like I have been improving a lot since I started visiting this site and became a member.:beer::beer:...........:drunk::cussing: ??? :D..........:|~

I really like this so far, the only thing I can see is maybe the exhausts. they dont have a hole in them, maybe some black to denote the exhaust ports:D

I was thinking of that, that is why I tried it out before glueing anything, and ended up with a really small subtle pin to hold it in place. It will work perfect. I will think of it for the next couple of bikes I build, because not all of them will be in the same position therefore making it akward, but iLL GET TO IT.......:D

@Mark: Thanks for the pointer. I was planning on painting them vs drilling because drilling too big of a hloe with the pin vice might look ugly on the exhaust.
