Only a little update but getting to the point were they just need metallics, hair and adam ant style eye make up before I start on their shotguns and bases.

That yellow is going to stand out well on the table, an opponent with a drably coloured army is going to feel as though they've no minis at all as yours catch the eye

well as our local gw stores gaming room is upstairs with no windows and lighting similar to the inside of a space hulk I will at least be able to find my mini's lol

Well I coudn't be arsed gettin the light tent out tonight so I've just taken a quick update photo on my desktop.

It'll do til I get these two finished and some proper photos taken.

Just a quick update to show some progress two are finished baring some touching up around the eyes and obviously the insignia at the end.

and two more i've made a start on, i've already got the arms finished for these guys.

have to see what I can get done before i go on holiday.

four shotgun scouts finished and based barring the insignia, this just leaves the sergeant to do for this squad when I get back. I'm motoring through the infantry, thankfully lol

well i've been slightly distracted by going on holiday, gamesday, starting a new job and starting a college course but finally i resurrect this thread, not with threadomancy most foul, but with an update. Got the sergeant for the Second scout squad finished and based bar a few touches and insignia as usual. So here is the falcon punching mofo from a few different angles and a grope shot of the finished scout squad.

It looks like a nice guy but the coloured part of his much too big. You should make it a bit little as it looks a bit weird like that.

I agree with cheelfy, I think something simple like just adding another colour to the belt would help a lot with breaking up the amount of yellow in there...

i too believe the mankini's need "definition", what about doing the central belly sections black? you know the bit that used to be three pipes on the older mini's, however excellent work clean crisp lines, bravo.

Just a very lil update this time to show of the base i've been building up for my landspeeder storm. Its built up with plasticard, cork, sand and wire. Its been filled up with steel ball bearings to give weight and add stability, here it is.

and lets not forget the poo!

any questions ill be happy to answer.

@everyone last time I had a big chunk of yellow to break up on one of the scouts I simply changed out the belt buckle colour so may give it a bash on this one too.

Base is looking good, agree with the breaking up the yellow. The buckle idea may just do the jaerb.

HOWEVER... why are they all blonde?
surely the planet they recruit from have a relatively wide base of hair colours to choose from.
