Yes it's because I think there is no medium to cloud the look, just pigments and water.

Cheers Ter I've have my own way of blending. The basecoat was airbrushed and then I go in with a brush and wet blend the rest of the area to add definition to selective areas.

This "burning man" thing is madness too. can't wait to see its pyramid thing and how they come along together....

I find this burning man very intriguing...you need to paint up some of the Marvel characters as this style would make them shine.
