Well whilst I'm waiting for new tools to arrive. I'm going to start up a space marine captain, I'm not going to start the banner has I want to paint the Ork first so I get the right theme

I'm also going to take a leaf out of a lot of ppls books and SLOW DOWN rather than try to paint everything as fast as possible and miss thing. I'm going to treat each section of a mini as a mini and paint smaller sections to perfection.

lmao, funny digs I'm OCD about tools, gotta have the right one for the job, if I don't have the right tool I'll either make or buy one. Using the wrong tools only leads to disaster and makes you go around in endless circles of fixing shit that could of been avoided. I would like to try and sculpt something bigger when I get after confidence in my skill set, I think for now I'll just do alternations to current models, like this little Ork

What you do guys reckon for weapons? Duel axes, axe/shield, mace/shield? Bear in mind his going to be bear chested with a pauldron on the main weapon arm and a Cloth/leather long split skirt (more like a lion cloth with a back section. I want to show off those legs, rather than cover them up with a robe). A bit like this

I still want to retain the shaman/battle preist look for him

ah Bollocs to it, Even though I don't dig the whole NMM I though the free mini would be a good canditate to practice on and practice with light sources, etc. The only aim is to get better at TMM. as I've got the AoS on order they will ALL be painted in TMM

well I'm putting the sigma dude down now to continue with my main project. the sigma dude is a side thing to stop me going insane.

Here is the Ork and how he will be placed on the base. There is a banner that will go on the left side of the base as well. I'm stil not sure how to weaponise him though
