ok so how cool is this. my student teacher has officially taken over and i am now going to be free for 7 hours of the day. thats right kiddies i am being paid to sit in the back of my room and paint mini\'s all day long. tell me this is not cool. and on top of it i am being paid to have a student teacher on top of my base pay. woot woot.

anyhow just had to gloat i will post a pic sometime soon of my work \"paint station.\"

As someone who recently finished a stretch of student teaching all i can say is... god i\'m jealous.

My Master teacher faked interest in what i was doing but never gave any meaningful feedback, and she dumped me on the kids day 1. So, at least yours knows where she stands. Models, kids, student teacher, other stuff... in that order.

To be fair, if I was the head of the school I\'d discipline Mr Uber for not doing his job. I\'m not joking either! That is a real piss-take and one I\'d expect to get sacked for.

woah woah woah......now i may have a student teacher but it does NOT mean i dont do stuff. i try to remove myself from the room most times but come in and observe her for 5 minutes at a time.....and give her advice on what is and what is not working. we talk candidly about my art program and what she likes and dislikes.....so even though i am \"off duty\" i still dont shirk my duties.

its just that most of the time i get to paint.
