the blue armour was painted like this-
*basecoat of regal blue
*wash chaos black into the shaded areas
*mix in ice blue to the regal for a few highlights
*then use ice blue on its own for a sharp highlight
*finish with spacewolves grey on the sharpest edges

Where do you get those \'Hockey puck\' style display bases from Daz?, I love em!

I think he told me that they were resin - cast in a lid. Apparently all the \'Eavy Metal painters use them like that.

yes, bill\'s right the bases are lids of different sizes and we got them cast. a lot of the studio guys use them now. it\'s our visual signiature!

Love it never a big fan of the clean crisp look but cannot argue with technical brilliance..
one of my favourite minis and a cool job on him.....scores have evened out now...
