Why he\'s the guy who played Lois Lane\'s father in the opening sequence of Superman, staring Christopher Reeve. Everyone knows that!

Mr. Reeve may have given spare change to the poor before his unfortunate accident, but he didn\'t create a world fund for research on spinal damage. He had his accident, and then he did. Little cynic in me says that if it hadn\'t been for one ill-tempered horse, he wouldn\'t have donated at all.Message original : barkel
Obviously that was sarcasm. What kind of pathetic ass believes it is wrong to have a change of heart!!!!!????? Is there no forgiveness in this world anymore? How dare you say that because he didn\'t care about paralysis before he was paralized that he was a hypocrite. Besides, who is to say that he did not give to charity before he was paralized? I don\'t know if he did or didn\'t. What if he did, but he simply didn\'t have a focus?
My belief is that crap like this comes from people who are so hollow themselves that they try to spoil the good of other people. Don\'t try and take away Mr. Reeve\'s activism just because he waited until he was in his 40s to become paralized. I\'m sure if he had known it would upset you so badly he would have become paralized much sooner in life.

Oh, and for the record I don\'t see what forgiveness has to do with this.

Celebrity tragedies seem to come in threes. First Rodney Dangerfield died, then Janet Leigh, (Marion Crane in the 1960 Psycho) and Christopher Reeve. Since I never have actual contact with celebrities, outside of the occasional restraining order, (and that contact is usually through their attorneys), I only see them in their movies or TV shows, which gives them a kind of life after they have died. I don\'t get sad when they die, I remember the entertainment, and court orders, they have given me and those memories are happy ones. Usually.
My favorite Christopher Reeve movie is \"Somewhere in Time\" with Jane Seymour. It was filmed on Mackinac Island in Lake Michigan.

P.S.-
Doesn\'t anyone care about Steve Reeves?

Christopher Reeve could have cussed God out, shunned society and spent his remaining days in a Woe-Is-Me chat room.
