I\'ve been playing Dawn of War a lot recently as Orcs, and i\'ve started to pick up some of their words:
Gubbins as an identifier for anything
Grot or Squig as my brother\'s new nickname.

And if \'window\' was for some reason temporarily forgotten, your mother could have been asked to \"thing the doings\".

Gubbins would fit in there too, being another filler for things with words that are forgotten.

my wifes favourite word seems to be - \'no!\'

as for me it\'s either the great yorkshire word \'t\' as in off t pub or off t work.
the other is a phrase but is ; noo then mucker\'

I\'m with you the wife one DL, however my favourite word at the moment is

YES!

as I beat my son at Lego Star Wars again - although it\'s getting rarer these days :(

I\'m currently employing the word BOBBINS!!! as a mild expletive, but I also like Widdershins, Embiggen (it\'s a perfectly cromulent word), Spume, Contrariwise and Vacillate.

My grandad and mum use the word doings for everything but in their case they drop the g as any good Yorkshireperson should; Doin\'s lol
