\'Vike - yeah, you got the same \"friends and family\" plan going, too!:bouncy:

NSA - I agree, it COULD be, and was for awhile. But overall for the best. Long story.

So getting back to the original topic, the oldest person I\'ve seen admit to their age so far was 43 (now I can\'t find the original post so I\'ve forgotten who it is).

I\'ll have you beat in a couple of months.

I am the oldest person in my immediate group of friends. We used to have one guy who was older but we don\'t see much of him anymore - he went back to college!!

Most of my friends are not too much younger than me, but one got married last month and his new bride is young enough to be my daughter.

We NEVER get back to the original topic. \"Hijacking\" a thread is an artform around here, and Finn can create a masterpiece like nobody else...;)

Oh, and to demonstrate sniffles\' point, when we mentioned the show \"Leave it to Beaver\", she had no idea what we were talking about. Talk about feeling old!lol

Groan!!

Even I am not old enough to have seen I Love Lucy in its original airing - I\'ve only seen it in reruns. :p

But I did see Neil Armstrong walk on the moon. Not in reruns. :D

Sniffles, I am 45 (automatic this year) while DR has a few years on my old body.

And, yes, I remember Neil Armstrong walking on the moon. Fully expected to be part of the perminant colony there by now.

I remember Nixon resigning.

And watching the Vietnam War (ahem, Police Action) on tv newscasts (back when you could hear the clicking of teletypes and typewriters in the background).

And New Zoo Revue.

I\'m a little young for the walk on the moon, though. :D

I still feel sixteen. I have my walkman withthe Dead Kennedys playing. I\'m going to go with my friend Dougie and Brinkman to buy Vinyl records at Sitoris. I open the back door to Brinkma\'s mail jeep and we take off.

Only 3 thank you very much!

Ha! beat yah! I can remember John Glenn\'s televised space flight,
as well as 22nd November 1963,
the funeral of Sir Winston Churchill and a lot of other stuff I\'d rather not think about at the moment.
I think I\'m the oldest Active Uk member of CMON, since Nomis has disappeared.

Yeah, but you don\'t need to be that old to remember that. After all remakes seem to be the thing at the moment.

See. Only when doing my BA, I didn\'t do anything extraordinary; all was done while I was at school (and I went to school earlier). So, basically, I started a BA when I was 15 :)

here in the states you can take Dual Credit or Advanced Placement classes, which means you get the credit for highschool and college, you can also take summer classes or extra classes, the Valadictorian of our class was like 9 classes from his masters. (crazy kid)

but yeah thats how the kids in the states avoid college!:flip:
