I remember when MTV actually showed Music Videos...

And SUV\'s were popular, but they were just called station wagons.

I remember when the only way to see music artists on tv was on American Bandstand or Midnight Special.

And we had a station wagon (estate wagon for you folks across the pond). We didn\'t lock it except when we went on vacation. And it had vinyl seats that could double as frying pans on hot summer days. :D

Our kids will probably complain about how they had to put *gas* in their cars and *type* commands into their computers when they were young.
Like in that star trek movie when Scottie is trying to talk into the mouse.

What bugged me about that was that when he had to type, even though he\'d probably hardly ever done it before, if at all, he was phenominally good at it!:flame:
I\'ve taken typing and typed pretty much regularly for the past 18 years and still only do about 60 WPM.

anything that runs and can go from point a to point b is good. come to think of it those are good points to consider in a man when thinking what he will be like when he reaches his \"golden years\" as long as he runs and can still get from point a to point b on his ownlol

Glad to hear that you\'re okay.
Hmmmm... Heat, food, and lots of exercise, weight loss, and you\'re making a lot of money. Maybe I need to get on your diet.lol

Hmm, all this talk of feeling old - well, at 37 almost 38 (December myself), I found a fountain of youth - Iraq - the sandstorms will blast all those pesky wrinkles away, and doging all the fun stuff that flies around here will take years off of you - plus the heat and the food and the walking will cause the pounds to melt away. Then theres the joy of working with 19 and 20 year olds who are amazed when you tell them that your mustache is older than they are.

Sorry folks, just a hard day at work over here - just not up to my usual sarcastic banter.

oops. :flip:

*chuckle* I\'ve got news for you IPM, we had dual-enrollment classes in Florida at least as early as the early 80s. My sister graduated with a girl in \'83 that already had her first two years of college finished at high school graduation by using the system. Makes me wonder what else they\'ve been saying in the FL school system since then. ;)

he was never at school. only took the classes he had to (bible) and took everything else at college, in one way its really cool, in another he never had a senior, or junior year of highschool
