Bet I could......100 metres was my speciality...;)
until last year I played 5 -a- side in a league usually against 22year olds (sometimes 18ish) I had to use my superior intellect  superior weight (plenty) and superior knowledge of human anatomy and how to break it. we also had to wear green for the chance to ambush them. we gave up when they stopped creating new divisions for us to be relegated into.

1986 I have mini\'s older than that still waiting to be painted.:D

I just turned 30 this year and it is the very first time in my life I have actually regretted a birthday. I have white in my beard, which is said to be a sign of wisdom, I am losing my hair, which is said to be a sign of virility, and I sincerely believe that anyone between the ages of 15 and 25 simply does not understand how the world works. I say that because I am past it and I didn\'t know.
I too am \"Class of 92\" - as if when I graduated from high school mattered at all anymore - and I don\'t think anybody understands how the world works. It\'s glaringly obvious to me that most older people hide this ignorance behind a jaded patronizing of youth, just as many youth hide it behind brazen cockiness or pretending not to care. Halfway between, I catch myself using both strategies from time to time.
And you know what? The fact that I actually believe what I just said scares the hell out of me! I have made a life out of not growing up. Then suddenly I turn around and I\'m married, I have 2 kids, 4 cats, a dog, a house, two cars, and a mountain of debt, and I think \"Holy sh*t, what happened?\"

At least you\'re two kids, two cats, a wife, a house and 2 cars up on me, buddy. Though, to be honest, 30 didn\'t really faze me. My life is the same now as it was when I was 29 (2 short weeks ago), and it is in fact just an arbitrary time point. I too try not to \"grow up\" too much, and I am heartened by the knowledge that there are 40, 50, and 60 year olds who refuse to take life too seriously, refuse to think fun time is wasted time, and aren\'t heart-set on becoming a dull middle-class drone.

What DOES make me feel old is that I was thinking earlier today \"Why are all these 9th-graders wandering around town in groups?\", and then I realized they were the new university freshpersons. Jeez.

I caught one!!! My girlfriend is 22, it did take me the best part of 9 months to wear her down though, shows I\'ve still got stamina :D

I like the saying that you are as old as the person you feel lol

@WiccanPony, I know what you mean about pulling something. :wow:

And lets not talk about white hairs. At least they are hairs. No, I am not folically challenged. I have hair. Just not where I want it. (I have it on my back, out my ears and nose, just not much on top.) The remainder are determined to turn white (grey or gray - take your pick.) I\'m just not vain enough to break into the \"just for men\".

that chest hair thing never panned out for me. My dad is as hairy as Ernest Borgnine, yet I just have a few overactive peach fuzzes...Maybe it will fill in when I hit 40!!!lol

BTW I really dig the avatar...Samurai Jack rules!

Okay, here\'s a couple of instances I knew I was too old: I was a senior in High School and me and my best friend were talking about female singers of the late 80\'s/early 90\'s and a Freshman overheard us and started talking about Janet Jackson and such, when we came to Paula Abdul he looked at us like we were nuts (this was before American Idol, Mind you..). Same thing happened when I talked to this girl about her N\'sync obssesion, siting the fact they sucked as much as New Kids on the Block... Once again.. \"Who is new Kids on the Block?\" was the only answer.... Oh, to grow up in the He-man Generation (lucky for us TV shows have no originality and they\'re remaking all these shows!) :p

Dr. Bob

but not THAT Dr. Bob
Fun list, IPM!

Mmmmm. 7-Up Gold... Mmmmm.

I was a little young, but I do remember staying in a Playboy Resort in Great Gorge, NY. I was probably only 9 or 10 at that time though, so the Bunny Lounge was off limits. It was my first time skiing. Thanks, Hef!

Happy birthday. Thought you could just slip that one in with no-one noticing.

@ everyone

It\'s amazing, i was starting to feel a little old when I realised that I could no longer do the late night early morning thing regularly. And then I come and read everything here and realised that i\'m actually not that old. Thanks to all the coffin dodgers out there.
