how about \'flattening\' the globe so it is the background, just an idea

yeah definately frame them. Not sure about the animating, but I can have a go hehe. Like the idea of flattening the globe would make more sense.

Hello again.

I like number four two... so much so that if you check out the site... :) No feedback on the random logo idea yet... anyone willing to add their two pence worth?

Couple of updates to the site...

1) The painter distribution map is up! Currently its not clickable but its one of the main parts of the site that was requested. Check it out!

2) Chatroom is now active.

A big thank you to all of you! This site is one of the most interesting that Ive had the chance to work on. My thanks to all 37 of the active members (and also to those who are yet to activate :) ) and to all of your feeback and comments. I look forward to welcoming FaMP #100!

Glad you like my designs, I like the idea of a random logo will allow other people to contribute and have a bit of variation in the design.

A forum will be added in soon. I think my server has phpbb on it so ill be using that rather than write my own.

Im still liking the fourth! we\'ll see what everyone else says

Yep the latest is best.
Try it with the world map in translucent blue and green,Im thinking it looks a bit cold how you have it.
Still excellent though.

What I meant with the animation is just a 2 or 3 frame movement on the people.

Think a mix of both would be nice the flat map of earth is the way to go but maybe more color in it like the first set of banners:D:flip::bouncy:

erm... a quick question

Is this site intended for those who take commissions? I\'m just curious, \'cos I don\'t really have the time to take on work for others when I have plenty to do for myself, apart from my other distrac... (cough) girlfriend and studies. And I don\'t believe I\'m good enough to take commissions anyway. Otherwise, I might just beat Hoblit and be the first african on.

The way I see it is as a referance and statistic tool.If someones looking for a painter to work for them they could use this.If you just want to chat to someone local you can,or just to see if anyone near you is a painter you can.

My view is there is no point in not registering,unless there was a fee,which there aint.

Frontpage details showing users online,in chatroom etc,,,,,standard forum stuff I guess.
