hi all.

Quick update....

User Galleries
Each member now has space for 5 pictures to add to their profile. These pictures will appear as links on your public profile, which can be clicked to take you to the larger version of the image. Theres space to provide a title and a comment too!

Painting Tips
You can now add a painting tip in your edit profile view. And if you read the next bit youll see where they go....

FaMPy the Chat Room Bot
Thanks to Hippy, who has developed a chat room bot for the #famp room. FaMPy\'s main use at present is to assist in providing information on users of the room, by typing .getinfo followed by the persons username. He\'ll be expanding soon; hopefully later tonite he will be dishing out painting advice by typing .hint , and displaying the members currently in the room just under the menu.

Various other bits and pieces
Im still finding other little bits and pieces such as the layout not looking quite the same in IE on some pages!

Please let me know if you have any problems!

Thanks Tidoco

Im still on the lookout for new ideas and other ways to expand the site.

While i remember, I shold state that the site may be temporarily down at some point over the next couple of days. The reason is that the web address www.findaminipainter.com has been secured, so it will be moving to its new home. The old address will stay live for a short while, but anyone who has it in their sig or as a link on their site will need to change it once the new address is active.

Thanks again :D

Just a quick question, Ian, who\'s going to pay for this domain? I hope you\'re not doing it all by yourself ???

This one has been paid for by me :) However, its currently being hosted for free, which has cut the costs down a lot!

My thinking behind it was that a proper domain adds a bit more polish to the site, and show that I am dedicated to it myself. I hope to be able to sell ad space on it, and ill be putting a PayPal donate button on there for anyone who wants to contribute. Excess funds will go towards organising painting competitions and \"round robins\".

Im open to any help and advice on this subject. Ive not worked on a project like this before; usually im lucky to get 63 visits in a month let alone 63 members!
