Sci fi channel is starting Flash Gordon next week. I hope that they do it justice, like they did to Battlestar (yes I know that some are piss at the gender-twist of Starbuck, but hells, I thought that it work out for the best :D:D

I\'ve heard the Queen theme song being used in some of the commercials - and besides the soundtrack is the second best thing about that movie - the first being Brian Blessed as Voltan Leader of the Hawk People, followed at a close third by the thought of dropping Timothy Dalton from a great height.

lol That would make a great action movie, starting from the heyday of Queen, and coming to a climax between the final battle when May becomes fully aware of the alien presence after achieving his PhD and leads a rebellion.

I could have sworn I saw Sam J. Jones (the 80\'s Flash) in a commercial.
However, no matter how good this is, it will still be Whitney from Smallville.

Well, I just like Blessed in anything. Especially as Augustus Caesar.

Anyone ever see \"Flesh Gordon\"?
I saw a clip from it once that used clay-mation like those old movies about greek myths.
Anyway, the voice of the monster sounded just like the voice that did Marvin in the BBC Hitchhiker\'s Guide and I wondered if it was the same guy.

If Brian Blessed was in the series I wouldn\'t just watch it, I would endorse it.

I never saw that one. But I use to love the cartoon when I was a kid.

the movie couldn\'t be that bad. Queen did the soundtrack.
