Liking this muted colorscheme, and nice glow effect! Could be a photo thing, but the face tat on the most recent fig is nicely distinct, the two before a little less so.
Good to hear Terra you sound genuinely interested in improving, will be nice to see what you come out with in the upcoming time. @Sionid, you are correct the tattoos don't look as distinct on the first two because I was using a brighter red, so it was contrasting less with the white highlights. I plan on going reworking that on the first two wyches with the darker colour to fix it. Thanks for the input
Thanks for the comments man, people like yourself keep me motivated! I'm going to hold off on the group shot until I get a few more done. Gonna paint the Succubus next, ordered a special one for my army. This fine looking lady here:
I'm not sure yet Ipaintyourstuff but I'm leaning more towards the whip and the pistol. Although I like the fan choice, due to it reminding me of Katana from Mortal Kombat, it also sort of reminds me of a southern maiden who is perspirating on her front stoop saying "Mah mah this heat we're having".
Group photo, thought I'd wait but they looked so happy on their shelf, figured it was a good photo opportunity. Apologize for the lack of lighting tried to open up the windows and let some daylight in (hideous daylight, HISS!)
Looking AMAZING dude, they blend and complement each other really well. I hear you on the pistol and whip, that is more Dark Eldar-y, and at the same time the fan has a bit of cool flair =]
Nice group shot Flunk , my eyes get pulled straight to the newest figure though ,probably because of the more blue in his palette and the lighter face he really stand apart.. Nice work
This model has proved to be a total pain in the ass. I though less surface area = easier to paint. I've never been so wrong. Lots of fine details. I got a little ambitious with the freehand as well. Uhhhhh why do I do this to myself.
Dude... this is looking amazing! I personally feel that this might be a case where your over-ambition has paid off. Photo is a bit blurry but its looking top-notch so far, this paintjob is going places!
