Congrats, Larre. I\'m still down in room 666 of the freak bar. I don\'t know what\'s going to happen now. ???

Here\'s a clip I found on youtube. It\'s not a good clip but at least the sound is clearer than most of the stuff I\'ve found. Excuse the language.

ok. So you really don\'t need to hear my voice to know my accent. Just watch any female TV news caster and that\'s how I sound. Of course, if someone wants to walk me thru\' how to use this headset attached to my comuter I\'d be more than happy to give you all an audio. No webcam, tho\', so I can\'t help there. Probably a good thing, come to think on it. Don\'t want to shatter freshly built illusions. ;)

Anyone want to show me how to talk to the world?

Oh, amd BTW, WOOHOO! Another freak!

This more or less covers how people speak now and a parody of how people used to speak.

Unfortunately there is far to little distance between Sheffield and those filthy Chezzers :p but if you want to hear it propper like just listen to Sean Bean. I\'ve no idea what he\'s on about in that clip (some rubbish about Sheffield Utd) but it\'s the only one I could find on Youtube that wasn\'t a montage of him being \"sexy\" as done by some adolescent girl.
Sean Bean always makes me laugh because no matter how much voice coaching he has he always sounds like he\'s come straight from Attercliffe lol

\"Let Mordor know this; If they cross ovver\'t river we\'ll gee em a reyt good kickin\'!\"

The Kiwi accent pronounces fish and chips:

\"Fush and chups\"

apparently. Sounds like fish and chips to me! :D

Sorry to dissapoint but mine is primarily Middle US with a hint of a Texas Drawl.

Spent a long time learning how to speak without sounding like I\'ve got a mouth full of mush.

And apparently I\'ve got the Voice for Radio - according to my customers - which is nice since I\'ve got a face that belongs on radio!lol

I wont make it to GD UK for a few years, at least :( But I\'m planning on saving up a certain amount of money a week and eventually I should be able to fly on over (and will be a much better painter by then, I hope :p).

Back on topic, though, hmm..

I sound like: this guy

@Undave, filthy Chezzer? :cussing: I din\'t know you were really a deedar. lol

I\'ve been trying to find some better clips, perhaps from people who work in the tv and film business or whatever. Sadly most have watered down their accents. John Hurt, however is from close enough to Chesterfield that the accent is still pretty much the same. So if you see a clip with him when he\'s not having to put on another accent, that\'s pretty close.

Shadwell!

I don\'t sound like this but it is your stereotypical Welsh accent, a touch of West Wales and a hint of Valley-speak.

If you want to hear my accent of the Cardiff variety, just call my mobile and listen to my answer message! Or even speak to me. Imagine that...

Thanks for bringing Shadwell back into my life - it\'s been too long.

As for accents, I\'m from Sussex so I don\'t have one so there :p

intresting.... somehow I think most accents sound pretty much like the rest of them, so wither you talk posh, scotish kind of accent, or maby brittish with less posh xD
