The blue tabard really does give the mini alot more punch... and I like how bright all the blue is, too.

Also, have yu painted the eyes yet? cant really see...

thanks for all the kind words mr crazyboyae!! I was originally going to go single 40k with this guy but I doubt I got the chops to place there, soooooo my alternative is to do 4 more of these little gaffers and enter in 40k squad. By the time I'm done all of them ill probably have carple tunnal and a serious case of hemroids but it will be worth it.

Btw I didnt know tim was one of the judges this year that guys a juggernaut thanks for the keeping me updated

Yup Tim is pretty much head judge, squade would be a good idea tho, 40k single is gonna be crazy so thats a smart choice.
still no word about the lounge this year i guess, i would like to know info about it and wether people running the lounge have to buy thier ticket

hey flunk, i didnt know you were in toronto just looked at your profile, I remembered that blue guy in 40k single right after you entered it i was talking to tim and he brought it over to where i was standing and was like "look at this eldar guy, this category is sick this year, do you see the detail he painted in there" so congrats for that. goodluck this year

Thats kinda weird you were on the other side of the golden demon table, weird might not be the word, but I was probably just doing laps around you the whole time because I love to just look at all the entries, and thanks for the kind words about my other avenger. I counter-creeped your profile and noticed that Damsel you entered got an HM also its really nice! It needs a higher rating the sword is just nuts, and i like the spookiness of her eyes/base. I voted it 10 to hopefully bump it up a 0.1 because it really deserves more. But people on this sight do tend to go for the reall flashy stuff.

@hillbilly appreciate it man, Cocanour broke the dam by saying that it bothered him lol im glad he did it payed off. i looked at his profile and figured if a man with a 9.7 rated piece suggests something, id better follow it

I agree! The blue looks really good.. Makes it pop a lot more and adds some color which is good because the armour has very muted colors. Which actually looks good

Not sure about the demon lounge. there was thoughts to do it again but nothing has been posted on the events section so we will have to wait an see.

thanks alot man, I actually wasn't behind the table i was just doing one of my many circles and i am a little bit friends with tim lison so when we saw me doing a circle and it must have been right when you entered so he showed me. being behind the tables would be too cool. I also got an HM with the little lotr guy its deff the hardest model I have had to take good pics of. prob cuz its so small. are you from Canada?

yea i do i live in Oshawa just outside of the general toronto area, so I got a long ways to get to baltimore. Lucky for me girlfriend is driving mwahaha...shes so supportive Are you gonna be attending GD baltimore this year?

most defiantly i will be. it was a long drive up to toronto, actually one of my friends got turned back at the border so we all had to go back a little and we got into a bus and he had to drive back home, cuz nobody else had a license. was a whole lot of fun tho. hope you enter more then just squad! yeah youll see me and a few of my friends entering, we are going to be waring shirts that say the NYC painters. skeeve is one of the guys who is popular here.

were in the process of getting our passports right now hopefully we dont run into any shit at the border, thats a real worry for me.

I checked out your boy skeeve, just another guy i gotta worry about in baltimore. From this forum alone im running into these beastly painters that are going to be there, its really intimidating! it'll be a fun time regardless of me being blasted out of the water what have you got planned on entering?

p.s ill keep an eye out for those NYC painters shirts, that way i know who to run over in the parking lot before any of you get the chance to enter your shit haha jk, thats a little extreme...but seriously...

yes do run over all of Crazyboyae1's entries. asking to look at them then dropping them is always a good technic also LOL

With a lot of good models it just makes it even sweeter if you can win something.

From the looks of things you are doing just fine. Just be sure to clean up all those little errors. when they get a bunch of really good models sometimes they look for errors. little brush strokes or chips etc.

ahhh i cant wait tho, its gonna be a great golden demon. so far i have one entry done and one more that is super close to be. astropath in my galery is one. although those a bad pics i think the judges will like it. but you never know. the one almost done is an orc for fantasy and then i need to do a lotr cat and large model and open
so got some work to do!

I been thinking about this model, and I have no real reason to pin point exactly why I really like the armour. It's just such a great sort of marbled rust effect. Kina evokes the image of a lone tireles warrior of olde I think.
The pose adds to the dynamic air. Great stuff.
Keep going with this one, it's a cracking one to watch!

genuine thanks torn blue sky, its taking so long to post my next update because im painting the back. and for me to just post an update of the back i find...uhh...anti-climactic? i dont know if I can do a squad for GD just the one is taking alot out of me.
