I was also curious as to how you did it, thank you for taking the time to explain it! I missed that conversation but do remember you talking about the clock.
It was wonderful to meet you, and you still owe me your moon picture, next time they change the satellite picture in your area, I\'m expecting that. lol

its a shame that that person did something like that, but i don\'t think i can with good conscience say that it ruined my GD, I had a blast, whether people cheated or not.

I was one of the 4. I did put several hundred hours of work into that Mumak though. I got a silver and won\'t complain about that. I was humbled by the works of Angela and others and glad that they won in such tough categories. I did make first cut in the WH single cat. with my White Dwarf fig. Congrats to everyone. Thanks! I had assumed from overheard comments, and the fact that it looked perfect, that it was a cast base, which I thought were legal anyways.
Plus, with all these accusations already flying I just wanted to make sure that everyone knew I wasn\'t throwing more around. It\'s sad that this one bad seed ruined what was otherwise a great, and very tough, event.

Hi, guys!
Let\'s get the ugly stuff out f the way first... Yeah, we\'ve heard all the stuff about the guy entering stuff that wasn\'t his. i photographed all three of them, yes, BUT...they did not win any trophies (thank God). And, yes, we\'re looking into the situation. It\'s not in my particular bailiwick to keep a record of who is banned or who cheated or what not, so i really don\'t know what\'s going to happen, if anything. It would have gotten a LOT more attention if he had won something, but at the VERY least i\'m gonna make sure none of the photos i took of the models he entered will appear in our White Dwarf coverage. That\'s really the extent of what i can do.
On the UPSIDE of Atlanta Games Day, what a great time!! i\'m glad i got to see and/or meet a lot of you this year! Tracy and Becca, in particular...you guys are SO WONDERFUL for what you do. i would be MORE than happy to donate my time and work to your fantastically generous cause. My sincere apologies for not doing so earlier!
My congrats to Jeff Wilson, winning his THIRD Slayer Sword! i think it\'s time to break his thumbs, folks...or at least make him paint something other than Wood Elves. Then again, that\'s prolly just the jealousy talking...
Also, congrats to the myriad CMON painters that won (posted much earlier)!! Stunning work, folks! And it was a pleasure to photograph every single one of them! Angela, it\'s always a treat to see your work up close and personally. i\'ve never been a big fan of scenic bases for models, but those gears and stuff really made me rethink that opinion...! To anyone that didn\'t see it: You Must. i hope coverage on the GW Website goes up quickly!
i know i\'ve forgotten some names of people i saw or met this weekend, but my brain is still rather a complex meld of oatmeal and tofu... But i hope to see a ton of you out at Baltimore Games Day (or LA...or Chicago...), so get those entries done!!
Maybe i\'ll enter something in the Staff categories in Baltimore... Then again, looking at the caliber of Staff entries in Atlanta, maybe i won\'t.... i\'ll try to add some shots of the Giant i painted for the Studio booths into my account thingy here. Lemme know what you think!

Now I know the dude you are talking about, was wearing slacks with a matching jacket...looked perpetually pissed off.....I might have a photo of that guy, I\'ll have to look through the images. he didn\'t even go up on stage, just went around the side.

Ahh...i didn\'t see that in the original email you sent me. Sorry about that Andrew.
Is there any proof that he did not paint the Wood Elves? Without concrete proof, there is nothing we can do.We\'d LOVE to put the correct artist\'s name with the entry! Is there anyone who can help out with this?

For a pic the easiest way is hit the little insert picture button just under the drop down for font size.
You can manually do it with
[ img]Image Source[ /img] without the spaces and replace the Red with the url.
Prefer if you post them here, not about to sign up for a yahoo account just to view these.

Hi all. I think that\'s my photo. You can see a high res version by going to my flickr site where they were originally posted.
Those won a demon? I didn\'t think they were as good as the other 2 he apparently entered, but it is a very cool tree.
Anyhow, please feel free to comment on the pics at flickr and help me get those shots up to speed as far as who painted them and who won what. Thanks for Grumb for already leaving some comments.
And sorry for the quality of some of them. Trying to take pictures under that lighting with no flash of minis behind plexiglass, and with just a 2 megapixel camera, is really tough!
