:) lol.....while never having shopped in a GW, I have come across the eager beaver clerk in other mini/hobby stores.

being an “older” lady, I could get away with murder.... , all would think I’m buying for the kidlets..oh how one wants to reach out and pinch those wiggly puppy cheeks.


But my standard greeting is “hi, no thank you I want to look around first, if I need help I’ll give a shout”...then go about my business.

In the long run.......$$ speaks volumes and \"She\" who has it is Queen lol

I normally find the GW staff to be great (many have been friends over the years), I have had remarkably few of the \'is this guy ever going to shut up\' experiences. Sure, some seem to have attended too many hyperactive enthusiasm courses, but thats ok.

I usually use 1 of three responses:

I\'m just looking - they usually leave me alone.
I collect everything, my favourite army is Fimir and my favourite game Block Mania - works great on the younger ones.
I\'m a painter, looking for something to do for GD - if they are a painter you get to talk about painting.
