The spear makes more sense with that pose. Holding a sword like that when charging doesn't look natural imo.

Spear for me. But shave off the mundane rivets/bolts & paint it up as a nice magical weapon. Do you have any wizard staffs or the standard from the Elf Glade Guard box, the bottom half with the two pennants might work as they're both trailing back. Glue the spear head onto that. Any eldar weapon heads about in your bits box?

Room to strap sword to his back/belt for fancy paint too?

Cheers, B.

Thanks all for the feedback.. now I'ts a much easier choice :)

I think I'll try it the way BPI suggests. Make the spear look more "knightly" and then strap the sword to his right hip.

"I'll inpale someone on this spear in the first chare then go to work with my nice shiny sword.." :)

Ok I got tired of that stupid knight :loser: so he will have to wait a while to get painted... :)

Took the opportunity to finish up a really old project of mine: barbrawl. I just really always liked the skirmish games like bloodbowl, necromunda and mordheim better than WHFB and 40K. The reason for this is that i think that you gets more character with a warband of 10 minis than a pile of tyranids who all looks about the same..

So I decided to make my own skirmish game with my own set of rules. One criteria i had was that it should fit in a not to big box so that i would be easy to transport. I also wanted rules that would be relatively easy if you wanted to play a fast 30-60 minutes one-off game. I also did special campaign rules that would make it possible to make characters grow more powerful overtime.:guitar:

So after experimenting alot with the rules I came up with the finished game about 3 years ago. I have then developed the rules a few times and now i am quite happy with how it turned out.

so here is a few pics. gonna add some closeups of the brawlers at a later time:
