Hi all. I\'m the new guy with all the pics but no posts. I lurk a lot and don\'t say much which is kinda how I am in person. ;)

I\'ve been to all 3 Atlanta Games Days and have never met anyone much but then I\'m always there with my gaming group and we pal around and geek out together. I had a first cut in LOTR single this year and the first year. A buddy and gaming group pal also made first cut also. Another gaming group friend did win a demon last year.

Atlanta is steadily growing as far as the talent is concerned. Having Saxon Angel there this year bumped up the level a lot!

Anyway, hope to get to know some of y\'all here and hopefully meet next year. If anyone lives around Atlanta, I sometimes hang out at hobbytown in Kennesaw and Gamers Getaway in Douglasville.

leopardpixie, pics of the GD entries? All mine are here:

Hey...nobody invited ME to come drink in the hotel room...*sniffle whimper* :(

Well, if someone had arranged for my models to place, someone might have been invited ;)

The trip was great, even though the drive is long. Had an awesome time at Grumb and Dawn\'s. Thanks for cooking all that stuff. You guys put so much effort into the whole thing.

Tracy and Becca, it was so good to finally see you too face-to-face. I wish Todd could have been there too.

It was great to meet everyone and get a chance to drool over the pieces that Saxon Angel brought to the event.

I hope we get to do it again next year.

Tiffany, you impatient wench....lol

I\'m still working on ours. I think that someone forgot to take the camera out of macro mode before taking a bunch of the pictures. Half of them are unuseable. I\'m trying to salvage what I can. I\'ll get them up on photobucket or flickr and posted here ASAP.....patience my friend, patience.

Cheer,
Grumb

Haha..

@Ardyer- I was the one with the BB Ogre Team set up at the table.. I won BTW 2-1 over TCs Norse team (them goblins getting tossed is quite fun.) Im Derek. O and on a funnier note, that room now has a rather large size hole in the wall thanks to my friends.. (yes they paid for it... morons.)

With as fast as you talk when you\'re all giddy with excitement, Becca, i can just hear you stumbling over words with much profound precision... lol

Anyone who saw my WE lord w/ great weapon (had a red, brown, gold and silver NMM paint scheme) comments would be much appreciated.

This just has to be said.....How Cute!

I\'m glad all of you had a great time, regretfully my plans and hopes for attending Atlanta this year went seriously adrift, which meant that I missed out on meeting some great people.

I\'m not going tp plan anything for next year, I need to get this one over with first.

I remember the model, now I am going to see if I remember what it looked like ;)

The standard critique is that you should probably thin your paints more ;) Seriously though, I though it was a little muted and could have maybe use a bit \"sharper\" of a highlight.

**Keith - we\'re definitely going to send you a GA Tech baseball cap to replace that *shudder* Univ. of GA cap you had on at GD. **

Not yet you Techies! Once you change your mascot to a bulldog, then maaybee I will. Of course, when my daughter goes to college she\'ll probably end up at Tech and I\'ll need to change anyway :)

Again was a great time, can\'t wait till next year!

OK. Safe home in NH now and just wanting to drop a line to everyone.

It was great meeting everyone -- and thanks again to Scott and Dawn, and Kevin and Marie. I appreciate it all. You southern folks really know how to make a Yankee welcome. I almost feel bad about the whole 1860\'s and all.

Keith -- see you at the Game Castle, man.

GW posted Atlanta GD pics, and I have to say that the Younglbloods category is far weaker than any other GD I\'ve seen, even at Warpstone (in Canadian conflicts- where I compete). But I also noticed that many other categories were weaker, but CMONer\'s models, like winners by Keith Rudis, Kep Pump, and Angela Imrie (i probably missed some, sorry!) are the best!
