GD Baltimore \'07

FAUST.

Hi, I would like to know if any one from CMON would be attending there. The GD is on Saturdy, July 28. It would be nice to know, because we maby could organize that we go out for lunch together during the GD and after it maby organize a after-party.
:drunk:
Well, I hope that some one will show up...

Unless something unexpected happens, like my death or being sent across the globe again, I am planning to be there.

I can\'t believe there is no action on this forum considering Baltimore Games Day is this weekend. Is there another forum out there on this topic?

American GDs don\'t seem to generate much interest here on CoolMini when UK seem have something like 7 pages 5 months before the actual day.. :p Crazy CMoN.

The posting is generally done by those going.. or not going. And those attending to UKGD are the most active ones and probably the most numerous ones as well.. But I for one is really looking forward to seeing the entries from Baltimore! :)

Good luck to all Cmoners entering, its always great when one of our own takes a demon, regardless of whereabouts in the world they win it!

Yeah lack of interest to this one is almost disturbing but photos I will take. With luck I will post them on Sunday (assuming I wake up on Sunday at all):D

I\'ll be there again this year. I\'m just entering one project this year (I\'m acutally still working on it a little). I hope to see some friendly CMON faces there!

We for starters we have like 20 of them..not like its an unuseual event :p But theres lots of chatter out there about the events on other forums, especially regonal forums and 40K specific forums. Besides Demons, US GD\'s are also about Gaming and the Grand tournaments almost more than painting. There might be 3000 plus people at any US GD but only 200-300 entering the demons.

Speaking of friendly faces.. what does yours look like.. not sure how to find a brushmistress in a crowd of over 3000.. well except for you will be of the few women there..

Look for Natalya \"Alexi-z\" Melnick as she will be there..

Look for the half shaved head & glasses (you can also find my pick in previous years GD awards-Jessica Dennis, though it\'s Jessica Rich this year). I\'ll also be the one biting my nails off & climbing the walls with nervousness. :) If you see me say hi!

I\'ll be there as well.

I like my entries, if not my chances.lol

I bought a new house and have a pregnant wife and a little boy, so I haven\'t had much time to work on anything.

Which half? lol

As much as Id like to make it I dont think I will now.. too expensive of a trip for me right now last minute and I don\'t look forward to the 10 hour drive alone. Looks like Chicago will be my only US show this year.

Good luck to you and everyone else going.

Cathy and I will be at the Chicago games day to defend home turf:D

We will be hanging around with the other Adepticon painting instructors that day, I think. Finding time to work in GD stuff in between commissions will be a lot tougher than getting to Games Day for us;)

Natalya won Gold for 40K Single, 40K Squad, LOTR Single and Bronze for Fantasy Single. In addition, Natalya took the sword for her Dark Angels. Scott Bowser won a Silver (forgot which category), and I won Silver in Fantasy Single (my only entry this year). All in all, it was a pretty small crowd for a Games Day (last year Baltimore seemed more popluated), though as a gamer I enjoyed a little more gaming options for Fantasy Battle players, instead of being completely 40K centric.
