Having attented both Baltimore and Toronto, I think that the Baltimore entries were overall better quality, though there were some outstanding minis in Canada.

Hm. I think she made the trek east - she\'s Canadian. Unless she moved to the States and I wasn\'t aware of it :)

Holy trousers, Batman! 400 hours.....

Can you imagine how knotted his guts must have been when he sprayed that first coat of varnish:flip:

Well at least his 400 hundred of hours have paid off! Imagine you spend that much time on an entry and not win anything!

Very nice model! Now i\'m off to look at the piccies!

Looked at the piccies and saw some reaaly nice stuff. But did that Familiar actually win something in the Open Category?!

Well as the Second link wouldn\'t open I ended up looking at the First link listed.

Opinions:

1) Forgeworld Seminar: Imperial Fortifications WHY? Who is gonna be able to afford them just for a battle field? To me this is blatant Money grabbing.

2) The Golden Deamon entries: Some really nice stuff there just a pity about the poor Photo angles.

Congratulations to all those who deservedly won trophies.

yup. silver.
when GW gets their coverage up, you\'ll be able to see the level of detail that went into that model. impressive at that scale.

Mollasses is a very thick dark syrupy substance. If you poured it on something, it would come out of the container very slow. When it\'s cold, things like that tend to get slower.

I remember my grandmother would make fresh baked bisquits and give me mollasses to dip them in.:)

Yeah... My husband and I walked by when it got first cut and started giggling. When we came around an hour later and saw it got a trophy we were laughing so hard we were stumbling about. People must have thought we were either drunk or complete asses. :p

Parts of it were glossy and the hair was an absolute highlighting disaster. The sculpt is truly awful. Look at the size of her head vs the rest of her body. :wow: Even the tattoos are rather sloppy. I can\'t understand why the judges would choose it.

Must have been the boobies.

It was most certainly entered as a private joke, I assure you. We all know GW hates publishing nudity. And she is VERY naked. Muff and all.

BTW
Why the heck does everybody think I\'m an American????

Sorry Angela, for one,I didn\'t know you were indeed SaxonAngel and for another, I had seen you as a winner in I believe it was GD L.A? I guess I just naturaly assumed you were from the U.S.A. and you had come up to Canada. As my brain has shut down until school starts up again it never really occurred that it could be the other way around.

Congrats on the multiple Demons. Great to see another great painter is within our Canadian ranks.
