The reason I will go there again is for all the good people I met there. I had great chats with a lot of people. Most of you are so friendly... I was in a rather strange mood that day, because of everything I exerienced so I can\'t tell if I repayd your friendly manner in a proper way. Just so you know it, it was you guys (and Adrian without Internet..
) that made my day. I hope you show up next year as well!
The GD area wasn\'t crowded when the large mass had loosed interest, I got to see some of the winners very up close. especially the open category ones. when the lighting was poor on one side because of sunshine it was excellent on the other side.
I think the cabinets was too poorly lit, I think that is why people tended to lean forward to be able to see anything. I know I did. (sorry) I tried to be fast when there where other people around, but some people just stood there, often with big cameras shooting picture after picture. (hard to get a good shot I presume) When there were good lighting there was no problem looking at the minis from a distance.
Genererally I had a great time, and I\'m prepared to go next year as well.. but then I will go one week before and be at the Euro Millitaire as well.
oh and Orb, if you meet up with Adrian give him a cheers from me (or a big round of applause). He was not only one of my favourite painters there, he\'s also a top bloke! (and so are you!
)
all the best, Sven
