So, to decide for def., what time & place?
Repair stand opposite the toilets, (by the GD entries) at about...1:00 maybe??
That way people get time to have a butchers at stuff, then meet up, make a friend and look at more stuff, with or without them. Also its a good spot as its obvious and easy to find.

Just a suggestion though..

There is no room opposite the toilets because that is where the entry stands are...

If you re-read my earlier post I said between the toilets and the fire escape on the back wall which is just behind the repair table, (repair table has 360 degree access).

As for time well given that some people arrive at the last minute to get there entries in and then will want a look around I would suggest 13:00 to 13:30 for a meet up time for all those interested.

I will be there again this year.
Hanging around the repair table like a bad smell. Was hoping for 3 entries, now struggling big time to get just one finished...grrr.

Meet up place sounds fine, as it worked well last year! Who\'s off the Bar in the Hotel afterwards (I know it\'s dear, but.....)
as some of us got away from the masses.

Be interesting to see what pre releases are available apart from Apocolypse? And of course if there are any left by the time the main punters get in as they are bought by the Gaming Club\'s straight away!

Well I\'ll be there & I\'ll try to make it to the repair table for around 1:00pm. But I\'ll have the family in tow so may not be able to stay too long :)

Hopefully me, and I\'ll try and drag Dragonsreach and Paul along as well (shouldn\'t be too difficult :D )

I missed the bar session last year but the year before was a pleasant break from inside and was a pleasure to be able to sit down and talk to people.

Martyn - no  will have to stay on soft drinks :(

@ Neil H

I will be at the bar again as soon as i reasonably can, may be dear but a drink and chat is preferable to the smelly masses.

May actually bring some minis along this year. Got to make a carry case yet in my spare time.

You mean you actually have spare time???

Shouldn\'t you be using that time to pant another entry :D

Rosac, Don\'t discount some of the others entering Youngbloods, I got to see Sam\'s work at Conflict north when I went up there to see Dragonsreach for the weekend and the photo\'s he has in his gallery do not do the figure justice he could well be giving some of you a run for your money :D

OK, here\'s my plan.

1. Get up
2. Drive to NEC (only 25 miles away & only 3 miles non motorway!)
3. Queue up as early as possible to get to the front of the plebs queue (ie not Golden Demon) Remembering to take a waterproof jacket.
4. When get in, go to Forgeworld first to get ltd ed figures.
5. Go to Warhmmer retail section to see if any High Elf pre-release?
6.Go to 40k Retail section to see if I can botherd to get any Apocolyse as it comes out 2 weeks after!
7. Up to Black Library section to get any pre release books.
8. Check out any other stuff at that end.
9 Off to the Studio area to look at new painted goodies & say Hi to those I know.

So its now 10.30am!!

10. Loiter with intent around GD section to meet anyone I know (unless they are deliberately avoiding me!) & take pics.
11. Start thinking about lunch......
12. 1pm meet up
13. Go to Hotel for Food & drink!
14. Stroll back from Hotel to GD section & see what figures are on the top shelves & attempt to take some more pics.
15. Watch GD award ceremony
16. Stroll out & go home

Simple plan?????

Sounds like a plan Neil :D

I thought the same about Apocolypse but then you never know they might have some of the to be released later stuff available there???

As for Forgeworld and the Ltd edition, well I am not so sure I already have the 2 pilots so will they bother to bring out a one only something for GD this year???
Would be nice if they brought back some of the collectors figures but I don\'t see that happening too soon.

WHFB High Elves, from what I have heard & seen look about average apart from some of the command figures but they haven\'t even started showing these in WD yet and it seems very little has been seen of them at other GD\'s from the photo\'s I have seen. So will they even make a November release???
This year I think I will arrive around the same time as last year but instead of putting my entry or entries straight in I might hit a trade stand first otherwise as soon as I have my entries in I will be in the same area as last year loitering around the cases waiting for friends & aquaintances :D

From what I can gather there will be new Forgeworld figure out for UK GD.

For me the HE Lion Chariot is a must!

Are you going to Euro on Saturday?
