No only extortionately expensive soft drinks hence the requirement to go out to the not so cheep hotel :D

Last year they were bag searching and confescating peoples canned/bottled drinks as well and will probably do the same again this year.

Also last year they made everybody sit for the awards which was a bit of a pain, some storey about fire regulations...yeah right after people were walking around all day lol

Hotel wasn\'t so dear. And the opportunity to sit down and just chat and look at minis in peace is worth every penny.

Just wish I didn\'t have to drive so I could drink properly. :(

So what categories are people entering?
I think ill just be in battle scene/ diorama?

Don\'t think ill have anything else finished.

@Bill ... you still youngbloods? If so good luck young man. :)
If not STAY OUT of battle scene :p

Yeah Bill is still Youngbloods, he is in the school year below me but you never know he could enter any catagory anyway..

I\'ll only be entering a model in WH40k Single this year. My first year of not being allowed in youngbloods so this is taking up most of my time and focus. The base is just about complete modelling wise, and the mini is in various parts. Good job my GW online order only came today. ???

Depending on how things go painting wise I will enter the following.
Battle/Diorama - base and figures now done and ready to prime tomorrow morning when th elast of the gs dries.
40K single - maybe
40K Monster - maybe
WHFB Single - maybe
WHFB Regiment - maybe

The maybe\'s will all depend on how long it takes me to paint up the diorama I am working on as I want that to be my main entry.

After another hard day of modelling i am 98% done on my base, just got to neaten it up and voila. It has to be the best base I have made yet..

Hey, i was hoping to enter this year but a car crash has laid me off been four months since and have only just started gettin control back properly. Had planned to enter 40k squad and 40k single miniture-with a ultramarines tyranid hunter squad and a horus. Still going this year to check out the comp. But gona have to get some serious practice under the belt for next year. Though most likely il have more entries. Probably warhammer regiment and single mini

I don\'t think Ill make it this year due to lack of extra finances needed for the trip. So unless I win the lottery or something I wont be making it this year. And I so wanted to defend my 40K vehicle gold this year from last.. Oh well maybe next year.

Will you be making Paris? I know it was one or the other due to the gap between them, or is that off the cards aswell?

yea im getting better now:D an soon il be able to get on with painting then hopefully start to be able to have a crack at winnin a statue, got three armies planned so i can brush up on my skills. But as for the entries what do people think of my ideas? Possible, as I can directly fly into Paris stay a few days for the event and go home plus its not as expensive as England beleave it or not. The dollar is getting the hell kicked out of it in the UK and makes the price of everything almost double for me. We will see.

Hey Matty do you still need a base? Im so sorry it completely slipped my mind untill just now.

No, not now, I kinda fell off the idea that was planned (general lack of time), but will you keep the plans (if not iv still got them) as I may want it done but to use as a display plinth for other mini\'s, probably in a few month time.

I\'ve started painting my base to my entry today. I feel things are falling into place with my entry now :D The pre-painted base is in the WIP forum and I would apreciate some comments on it, especially saying if it is too cliche or not...
