GDUK 08 Duel entry

@Brett

To be fair to Rob. Even though he\'s been saying thanks to me for helping him blah blah blah, all I really did was remind him of my smug attitude and irritating demeanor if I won. That was all the encouragement he needed to get his brilliant entry done, in a 1/3rd of the time that I took.

I wont encourage the bugger again.

:bouncy::bouncy:

Was a great experience bouncing critique and wips with Rob and Adie. Its something I recommend to everyone

That is incredibly dynamic- great work. The one thing that keeps distracting me is how the marine looks like he only has one leg from certain angles. But that\'s a very minor point! :) I\'m interested in that rhino thing he\'s jumping off- what is it?

I think its a conversion of the Deamons of Chaos Juggernaught, although i think they may be called \"molochs\" (might mean Deamon) in Germany im not sure. Hope it helps.
Thank you! :)

That\'s about the sum of it.. he basically let me know how much he was gonna Lord it over me if I didn\'t put my ass in gear.....It\'s not like he needs any excuse to do that but I\'m damned if I\'m gonna give hima any more reason...

This was one of my favorites for sure!!! Just the collision of metal and meat...its just toooooooo cool.:p It has inspired me to work on a project to hopefully dethrone Matt from the duel category at GDLA next year muhahahahahhahaha:twisted:

Exquisite. I love the damage and the movement. The conversion work is lovely. If I had to pick one weak point it would be the pose of the ork - not sure about his movement or facial expression, but maybe that\'s just personal opinion...seriously I absolutely love this piece...so many little details...I could look at this for a long time and not get bored!

nice one, well deserved demon (o:

I just love the grittiness to it. It adds so much depth and \'realness\' to this fantastic scene.

Pat yourself on the back, sir!

I loved the look of this at GD, especially all of the different reds and the weathering.

Congrats on such a cool piece

Was a cool piece, really caught the eye when browsing the cabinets.

Was a tad surprised it didn\'t win, but it was so close.

Awesome anyway congrats

over? or under?

lol I guess I would have had to lay down for him t Lord it OVER me..... bless his little legs...

It\'s how he was able to get such dynamic positioning .. he actually got someone to take pics of him leaping off the jugger one handed and riding the bike kit while swing an axe......lol

.... and he still needed a bunk up onto the juggernaught!!!!lol

Fantastic work Nigel, and a well deserved win! I really love it, especially the pose of the beserker (although my money is still on the ork!)

Don\'t you know that\'s why Kev White is such a good sculptor? The minis he does are practically life-size for him :p
