I remember when i went to my first Games day in the UK about 7 years ago now......ulp!
anyway, when they calle dout the winners etc i got a bit miffed at 2 things:
1: the same bloody names as the last 3 or 4 competitions came up again.
2: The same names kept appearing in different categories that year.
At the time i thought that this was a bit unfair, seeing as only about 12 guys were winning a huge % of the swag.
However i had a think (okay beer) and later that day i thought it made sense, just because you have won something already doesn\'t mean a lesser submission should be allowed to win, if i took an entry for every category and won gold in them all, i would be a bit pissed if someone came along and said (sorry mate but you can only win one)
So i agree that the best thing to do with a feeling of unfairness is to go and have a sulk on the naughty step, then have a stiff drink, and then go and PRACTICE to become just as good as these guys.
Yes the same names appear year after year, but new names also appear amongst the old guard all the time, i can only hope that i get a sticker to get into the second roubnd and i will be happy.
Its just getting to Birmingham from Aberdeen and trying to get in early as i have cronh\'s and need to be able to get to a bathroom, hence why i haven\'t been in 2 years as its just too stresfull.:no:
