Funny you mentioned that. I showed this to a friend of mine. Her father worked in a maximum security prison. He said that child killers and child molesters are the lowest of the low. They are treated like garbage when they get there. I hope the boyfriend gets a nice long sentence.

In the past I\'ve always advocated that violence and capital punishment etc were not necessarily the right course no matter what the crime but in this case 15 minutes isn\'t enough what what this man deserves :no:

What in the world can a child that young possibly have done to trigger any kind of anger beyond a \'go away, kid\'? Tried to push the buttons on his controller when he was about to beat his old high score?
Fifteen minutes is not long enough. I hope he gets the maximum possible sentence, doubled. The mother? After she\'s done her time, I hope she\'s learned what kind of man she doesn\'t need in her life.

The sad fact is this sort of thing isn\'t rare but common these days. I can think of a dozen cases like this just here in Cincinnati over the last year or two..

To bad the mom will likely get off virtually unpunished. I tend to hold the parent more culpable in cases like this since it is the parents responsibility to protect the child and she even \'heard\' what was going on... Makes the mom just as guilty as the boyfriend in my opinion. Call me right wing but they both need to stop breathing air that productive members of society could use.

Yup even criminals find child abuses to be the most abhorrent crimes. Those are the guys that have THE TOUGHEST time in penal systems. You better believe this guy is going to be somebodies :cussing: in prison!
On another note though EB--15 minutes of pain, torment and death would not be long enough suffering for something as bad as this.
This guy needs to be tortured until the end of his life (dying by old age of course).
I\'m all up for torturing him to the point that he\'s almost about to break or die and then giving it a break and repeating torture and continue the cycle going! :flame:

See that she is only 19, definitely not mature enough to raise a kid.
In where I live (Hong Kong), we have this situation that many couples that are capable, both mentally and financially, decide not to have kid. while many of those kids (under 20) that can\'t even take care of themselves keep giving birth. This create a lot of issue. A very bad case last year is a single mother, maybe 20, who just party all days and nights, leaving her 3 kids at home. They have no proper beds, the mom doesn\'t clean them, she doesn\'t take them to school, and when she leave home to party, she just drop some breads on the floor and leave. The police found this out when the neighbors complaint about the smell of the kids. They arrest the mother, but the sad thing is, due to the lack of caring and interaction, all 3 kids are, mentally, underdeveloped. The oldest kid, 5 years old, barely know how to speak with other people.
When I read this kind of news, I was mad :cussing:. I have 2 kids, one will turn 3 on May, and another angel just 9 months old. They may take up a lot of my time, but I don\'t mind spend less and less time for my interest while more and more time for theirs, because they are my kids.

Slightly off the topic, and for different crimes, but there was a child molester at the school I went to, a few years before my time.
Finally got caught, and sentenced on a lot of charges, and in a grand stroke of the justice system actually working, this skinny evil white boy got sent to one of the worst mongrel mob prisons in the country.
I think he got a hiding the first day he was there, and one every day after that.
Last I heard he hung himself while in solitary confinement.
Pity, they should have handed him over to the dogs....

Its a sad world when someone thinks they can beat a child probably becuase she was annoying him when he was trying to play some game. The mother will in all probability be let of with 18 months somewhere. I agree her sentence should be harsher than his. Its HER job to protect her children. The other scumbag will hopefully be delt with properly in prison.

I agree with liz. News like this just makes me nauseous. I don\'t care that the mom was only 19, that\'s plenty old enough to know that what was happening was wrong. I have no sympathy for her based on her age. I\'m just sorry the little girl lived with people like that. I can\'t even think of a word that fits people like that.

I\'ve been an avid fan of this site for about a year but this is the first time posting so please forgive any noob mistakes...
It’s weird how before I had kids, I’d hear a story like this and think, “wow, that’s awful”. Now that I have a daughter (she’s 18 months) this kinda story is like a punch in the gut. It’s a vastly different feeling now.
I don’t feel any need to get revenge on criminals, even the horrible ones. I just like “an eye for an eye” philosophy. These two should be beaten every day for two years and then beaten to death with a controller.
