Hello,

this is my first post in this forum. i read for good one year here in this forum, but i never wrote a word.

Sorry for my bad english, i come from germany and my english isn\'t very well. In the near future i will better learn english. :bouncy:

I love the style of the Rackham Goblins.

Blending is perfect. I love the tatooing on the model...I love the color choice for the blue mini and also how all three are tied together with the blue tats.....very inspiring. :beer:

oh damn, thats some great blending, I\'ll not say its the best ever, but it is kickass, really!

post a tutorial on how you did it!

what type of paint you used?

i used Vallejo Moldell color, GW and some rackham paints
i prefer the paints from vallejo.

Primer?

GW White Spray (i only prime in white)

Brushes?

da Vinci Kolinsky-Rotmarder Size 0,1,2
Revell rein Rotmarder 2
in the near future i will use Winsor & Newton Serie 7, but the brushes are expensive

What technique you use for blending?

i used wet-blending

and what mixtures of water/paint?

for wet-blending i used a milky consistency 70 % Water + 30 % paint
for normal highlighting i use 40 % Water + 60 % paint

You are very skilled, and your colour choices are very nice. Only thing that could be improved are the tattoos, they are not blended with the skin and so look slightly strange.The display base could be better, it is not of the same standard as the models themselves.

The tattos are a part of the sculpt (and the thick edge around the tattos)

yes you are totally right. The display is not good. :cry:
