Have you tried discussing the issue with the neighbor?

If you have and still have no resolution, I\'d say contact the local authorities. Just because one has pets does not mean one can let them roam.

Try sprinkling some hot sauce or pepper whereever you think they have been.

We had a dog that kept shitting in front of my house (even with the owner walking the damn thing), so I poured out a whole bottle of tabasco all over the area.

I\'ve noticed the dog takes his business elsewhere now.....:D

shes funny about her cats (cant have kids so these are her babies instead) cats here in the uk have a right to roam (if a dog did this then the owner gets fined but not the same with cats.
we have tried orange peel which worked for a while but they get used to it. i even thought of trying one of those cat sonar things but not sure if they work

There\'s a lot to be said for sitting in your back doorway with a beer and a supersoaker full of icy cold water.

:cussing:When we first bought our house, we had neighborhood cats coming out of the woodwork... talked with some of the neighbors and got “cats need to be free” , this was back in the 50’s, mom went to the Humane Society rented those humane traps and proceeded to do a little population control, catch and take to animal control. now the local coyotes take care of the problem.

note: all of our cats have been strictly indoor animals, and not a one has gone bananas from it.

get some moth crystals or moth balls (napthaline?). Sprinkle it in the garden.

If that does not work, go to the zoo, ask the zoo keeper for some tiger poop. Sprinkle that in the yard. The local cats won\'t mess where the big one has been.

Airhead\'s got it right. Tiger Poop! You can try vinagar in a spray bottle too. I\'d avoid the gun thing though.

Thats a ll fine and dandy if you have a zoo with a tiger close by..

Ive herd the mothball trick works well to.

But trust me, a couple oranges peeled, take the peels put them in a blender with some water and blend them up..make a slurry.. pour it about in the garden..say good buy to the cats.

I do like that movement sensor sprinkler, I have a squirrel problem that that might work on.

I owned an old, battle scarred tom years ago. He was a city cat but a tough old bastard. Then I moved to the desert. A bobcat had sprayed the front door before move-in day (I saw it head over the fence when we moved in) and my cat took one whif and spent the better part of 3 months in a closet.

The point is, you can buy fox, coyote, etc. \"urine\" over the internet. Mostly it\'s to keep out rabbits and deer but if you get something from something big and not native it should convince those cats that someplace else is safer to poop.

Well I don\'t want to hurt the buggers..just make their little lives miserable.. I like the spinning Squirrel-a-pult bird feeders that are available now days.
