I\'m not sure I quite understand what you mean,

Are you asking how long it takes to dry? in my expierence about 4-5 hours.

But probably about 24 hours before its totally dry.

You can start working on it immediatly though...

It will be easier if you clarify what you mean,
Hope this helps,
Josh

All I\'m using it on is to attach a arm. The arm is very heavy and it needs to be propt in place. what I needed help on is how long be for I start to remove the extra bits. Cuase I figured that when it\'s totally dry it would be harder to work with? :bouncy: Thanks for your help

oh ok, sounds like your just using it for mainly filling gaps and stuff, in that case I would remove the extra GS when its almost if not completly dry.

That should work unless its over a wide are in which you\'ll you need to remove before its dry so you can smooth it out.

Thanks,
Josh

Sculpt the greenstuf to the arm whilst soft, once it looks right let it dry.

Snap off the arm, the greestuff will remain attched to one side, superclue it back on. Snap it off again, should come off on the non-superglued side. Superglue back on. You might want to pin as well.

If that sounds too involved, then just pin and superglue the arm, and then use the greestuff to fill any gaps, thats what I usually do.

well, they curtained off my face so i had to watch via tv. oh, and they used an air powered (actually it was a Nitrogen bottle) die grinder type tool with a tiny drill bit.

immagine the fingers cut almost clean off, held on by (so they showed me) some skin, a blood vessel and some nerves (luckily).
from here on out i\'ll just describe the pinning part
so he hinged down the tip of the finger and drilled two holes clean through the bone and skin, then he hinged up the finger tip and lined up the bones (lost a joint, so my two finger bones are becoming one finger bone) now with the bone lined up he put a guide to keep them in place (went around the whole mangled finger) and then traced through the holes he drilled through the first part into the second part. then cut the wires short to let the skin grow over it. the pins will come out in 8 weeks, but barrying them this way helps prevent infection to the bone
so in mini speak
say you\'re pinning an arm. take the arm bit and put the hole where you want the pin. then line up the already drilled arm bit with the body and secure it down any way possible. then using the hole in the arm bit as a guide, drill into the body. cut your pin a little short. patch up with gs. that\'s how doctors do it to get your bone pinned perfectly straight, so it\'s good enough for me;)
