Continued...
I was able to restore her jacket and I\'m just about happy with it, I subtly coated it with satin varnish to make it somewhat leathery.
Then procceded with the boots floor and sheet, which will be bloodied in the next session. Pretty happy with the tiles, gloss is a bit strong now, but it will be more subtle after the matt finish is on.

Like the floor a lot, blanket looks great too. Are you still thinking of bloodying it up? I like it in it\'s current state.

I\'m curious to see how you\'re going to tackle the hair. I\'ve never painted a model that didn\'t have the molded strands of hair, and I wouldn\'t really know where to start on that fig. I\'ve been watching the CG CLone Wars movie with my boy a lot lately and I think I would have to handle the hair similarily to how they\'ve done their computer work.

Good stuff, and a real cool model choice.

edit- Also maybe consider putting matt varnish on the raised tiles of the floor and not in the crevices. It creates a pretty cool effect and I used it on some Dragon Forge cobblestone bases for the wet grimy crappy street look.

Still pondering about the blood, a part of me thinks it won\'t tie well with the rest of the model, the other is just itching to paint something gory.
I kinda thought about not glossing the cracks after I did it, doh. But it\'s a simple matter of repainting them so it\'s no big deal.
Edit: Ooh I get it now... My matt varnish is in spay, so that could be tricky.

As for the hair, layers, I guess.
Something like this maybe, of course on flat hair:

Okay, last update for the missy.
Only the hair is left now, besides a couple touchups (Face, eyes, hands, etc.)
I\'m very happy with the vial and blue liquid thingie, surprised in fact.

If anyone sees something that needs improving (Besides my overall skills), please say so now, next time you see her will be on the submission thread :D

Perhaps drill the muzzle.

If you need to matt varnish the whole figure and avoid spraying over an area you want to keep glossy, let me point you to your new best friend..........BLUTACK

Aye, drill the muzzle, should have thought of that... Well, not sure I want to risk approaching a drill from a nearly finished mini.

Haven\'t thought about the blue tack, makes a lot of sense.

You got a winner going here for sure. I don\'t want to jinx it but this should score well.

What\'s the blue stuff on the ground?

Looking forward to it.

Also the primer had to be shipped gorund and it takes forever. They said be worried if it\'s not there next thrusday or so. Why the hell it takes so long I don\'t know....

Ah, don\'t worry about it, I\'ll get it someday, I have only two minis to be primed soon so I\'ll manage ;)

The blues stuff on the base ? Well it\'s blue Stuff... C\'mon, Blue Stuff ! You never tried it?
It\'s all the rage! All the cool kids do it, by the way ;);)
The vial is made with a pin/needle, now that\'s micro painting
