I won Silver in the Lord of the rings single miniature first time ive actually been to goldendemon which was a pleasant surprise, I though all the entries were great, but as many have said were not on par with previous years.

well this is the first weekend in forever that weve been \"hurricane free\" so next weekend should suck! just kidding, hopefully its over. the last time 4 hurricans struck anyone section of land (ie. state, island, stuff like that) it was 1886...thats along time.

So the riddle of the daemon prince is solved, I spent ages trying to work out why that model hadn\'t placed, cheers for clearing that up Tammy

It\'s either Frodo or the WotD, and both were fantastic.

Both my entries made it through- Gil-Galad- HERE
and my Grey Knight, which was cool.

GW\'s photo of the Chaos Marauder is appaling!! I took a better one through glass! It is a superb figure.

Joe Hill did paint the Bretonnian veteran.
Matt Parkes/Seth Nash painted/sculpted the Samurai type Inquisitor Henchman.
Chris Blair took a couple of Demon\'s. Mark Tait took a Gold Demon as well.

Standard was high, GW\' s photos are poor!

Well Idon`t think that this year`s UK GD level was poor. As it has been said just pictures are terrible. Only entry in my opinion that`s questionable is that chaos champion (ok, I don`t like 2 of the large scale modeles too ). Lot`s of really imaginative pieces - like Nurgle Lord on Daemonic Mount, Mounted Ordo Hereticus Inquisitor, open and duel category....
Hope to have such great ideas when I`ll be painting/converting my minis ...

Tommy - apparently we get a letter throught the post explaining everything, trip to head office, meet the design studio and so forth.
