After an discussion on the GW forum, one of the GW mods said this regarding the YB category rules:
\"As with all other categories you can use a 40mm base if it \"looks nicer\".
The restriction on base size was intended to be a guideline as to the size of miniature appropriate to the category.
Single man-sized or smaller models are the appropriate models in this category.
So Orcs, Chaos marauders, empire swordsmen would all be fine as they are supplied with 20 or 25mm bases. Ogryns or minotaurs would not be ok as they are supplied with larger bases.\"
Now, this is a change from last year, meaning that models such as ogres and 40k orc warbosses will not be allowed.
This is just so stupid and silly, denying the YB\'s to use the same models as used in the \"grown\" up single categories.
I already though it was silly that mounted miniatures were not allowed, but this is just going to far.
