I did that as well, about ten days ago, no response...I know that Reverend has been trying to calm the waters, but they should let people know everything is still on track officially I think.

I\'m not paying with my visa card as long as they don\'t provide me with some more contact information I\'m 99% sure they will ship if I buy a subscription, but I simply won\'t do it without that extra garantuee... :moon:

Dont loose faith my friends! The first issue is at the printers, I saw a couple of pages and it looks really cool! I dont know what happened to the website updates but as far as I know everything is on track. The editor is at Gencon and doesn\'t get back to the UK for another week, so dont expect any replies to e-mails before then. As for contact info you can always get in touch with Griffin miniatures, who own the mag (there\'s a snail-mail on the Griffin site I think). Oh, and I just peed a little with excitement.

Suckers!

You suckers, look at the guys posting! They are both from Cardiff, the home of the scam that is Harbringer. You will not see the magazine or your money back. All they are doing is trying to keep people sweet while more fools sign up!

My advice is to steer well clear. Reverend was a painter/stooge for Griffen and Hex is the head guy. Odd how he plays it like he is an insider with a little info....

Reverend is also a respected member of this community here, so I guess I\'ll have to ask who you are? And on what information your statements are based?

well.. to be true... i don\'t believe that so easily. reverend is here quite long now, so one of the person i would trust at first sight.
call me naive, but it is this way.

and that they are both from cardiff could just mean that they have the infos from harbinger we all want to have, but don\'t want to make it all to official.
griffin miniatures has it\'s little name in the mini-world and i don\'t think they want to ruin it with some fast money...

b0rab0ra - I bet you were top of your class in kindergarten lol!

Of course we\'re linked to the magazine and that\'s exactly how we know it is at the printers! :duh:

I am called Phil H Ensor, and I no longer paint for Griffin, SCG, Chinatown or whatever. However, I keep in regular touch with the guys who are involved...you see?

Now good old UncleHex on the other hand is the S-C-U-L-P-T-O-R for Griffin, SCG, etc., and if you took one short moment of your time to view his gallery, you\'d see that he has sculpted the Harbinger Miniatures...then, if you are still following this, go see Sturmhalo\'s work and find the PAINTED Harbinger of Justice. With me so far?

Okay...UncleHex is NOT the leader of this huge \'scam\'...rather a gentleman called Mark is in charge of it, as is his partner!

The Editor and Proprietor are currently in the US of A and doing the GenCon rounds on special guest lists, looking for future contributees and all that, as well as giving the mag a good kick-start. CoMag are involved in the distribution to major shops and another distributor in the industry has taken on mail order.

Does this all sound like bullshit still? I suggest you get your facts right before making a personal attack on either my friends/ex-colleagues or me...or else I\'ll report you to the moderator for defamation of character .

To everyone else - keep the faith and ignore b0rab0ra :)

Nice one rev!

It is shocking that someone has the idiocy post up such a stupid comment in the forum of a tight knit community such as the CMON forums!

I guess Harbinger has become a bit of a buzz word of late and as such is gonna attract time wasters such as borabora...! Or does living on london make me too close to the Harbinger team too? its only 200Km away you see... and 1 motorway...?? ;)

Keep up the hard work Harbinger team! We look forward to the mag!

Hey Rev,

whats the whole score with the Harbinger minis? Are they a special gift when you subscribe? ??? I plan to check out the first few issues through WH Smiths, rather than get a subscription straight away, will I miss out on the minis that way? ???

Thanks,

Kat

I always thought Rev looked a bit shifty...

Those mean little piggy eyes and that stupid hat.... now I think about it I realise what a fool I have been!! Who on earth could trust the word of a man that looked like that!!

I also have it on good authority that he is growing a moustache of all things. Clearly a disguise to protect himself from the consequences of his nefarious life of crime!!!

Thanks oogieboogie or whatever, you have opened my eyes.

Now bugger off:flame:

I have my doubts that it will run 12 issues because a miniature-based magazine has a very small circulation size.

But I have put my money into a subscription because people buying subscriptions is the only way that the magazine will survive. I\'ve seen two miniatures that will be bundled with the magazine, and if they have the ability to do that for every issue, I\'ll be more than happy, but the quality of the first two figures was good enough for me to want to order the magazine.

I wish them the best of luck, and I look forward to receiving my issues.

Don\'t think I agree . . . This is really an English equivalent to the French, Ravage, which I understand is doing just fine. How many people buy White Dwarf, lots. Lots of people play Celtos, Void, Confrontation and AD&D (buyers of Reaper), etc. Painter or gamer, we all want to see these mini in a magazine.

If they do it right they will be filling an important gap. Go to a Magazine store, there are magazines about things you would think, wow, who would read that?

Subscriptions and Retail sales to a \"give me something other than GW\" English speaking audience . . . sounds like a good chance of success to me.

They just have to get the word out. I for one posted the link to my local games forum and at least a half dozen of us have gotten together to have our local store bring it in, and it looks like it is going to happen.

Cheers Darkblade

*yaaaawns* man... get lost. or please leave some arguments instead of only senseless ranting & flaming. thx.

and just a little hint: people do not listen to you any better, if you call them suckers. they just laugh at some faceless guy, whi sits in front of his pc and thinks he needs to piss people of without a reason and catch some attention.
along with that: some support on such an ambitious project is always good for the whole painting-, gaming- and collecting- society, so i\'m not afraid of my bucks.

sorry, but i just had to leave that...

Here\'s everything answered that I can answer...and thanks all for the support...

Cheers for the support everyone - I\'m sure the guys deserve it! I\'ll quickly sum up what I know and answer things where I can.

Well, clearly you\'re in on the scam lol! And I wouldn\'t be surprised if, being in London, you\'re a rich man who wants to buy out the magazine and burn them all for b0rab0ra! Just what is he about Pete? I\'m at a loss - I hope you enjoy the mag mate :)

The minis require you to send off and claim the free mini, so I think postage and package will come into - but that\'s all...The second one of the two is, at the mo, available for subscription only, but availability in the future is a different issue altogether. There will be a whole range of Harbinger miniatures along different themes in the future, and you can kind of make them up as you go along. For example: Harbinger of Justice is the first, Harbinger of Vengeance is the second? Harbinger of War, Harbinger of Light, Harbinger of Death, Harbinger of Souls...see, I\'m making them up! But as long as the artwork continues to come from Abi (in-house artist and a sweet one at that) and the ideas from Mark keep running, the possibilities are pretty much endless. Harbinger of Smelly Feet, Harbinger of Vegetables...

As far as the WHSmith stuff goes, I believe CoMag are doing all that gubbins, though I\'m unsure of just where the very first release will be seen as yet - as I say, I don\'t work for them anymore.

Okay mate...did you just join this site to knock the magazine? Two posts and two insults - well done mate :) Are you possibly someone who had the same idea but got pipped at the post by a more dynamic team? lol

I see your points and I agree that there\'s an element of risk, but another post just summed up what I wanted to say and I\'ll quote that instead...still, good to see you\'re keen to support financially to make it work - this is what the whole thing needs.

That sums it all up for me...the whole point of the magazine is that there was a MASSIVE hole in the market for Miniatures/Games in English. There\'s so much out there to cover, and hopefully it\'ll never run dry :)

Everyone, thanks for the supportive comments in the face of b0rab0ra\'s mindless bollocks - you\'re a good bunch. This is a tight community and a place I call my second home (or maybe third after the local pub). Take care all.

Phil

P.S. I\'ll ask the guys at the mag to try and update as soon as possible when they return, or at least to post here...okay? :)
