Wow, this thread sure took an ugly turn since I had visited last.
Of course the last time I visited, we were discussing the fact that UncleHex has just \'peed a little in excitement\' so I guess it isn\'t that ugly of a turn!!!
A few of the posters make perfect sense in saying that we need to support this magazine. I know I for one have harped on the lack of an alternate mini-mag and I have already shown my support via subscription.
I have also spoken to my local gaming shop to see if they can carry it.
I would be surprised if there are not a few \'bumps in the road\' in trying to put out the magazine.

Just went over to the Harbinger website and while I was there I took a look at the Griffin Miniatures sci-fi page. I don\'t want to go throwing any accusations around, but the cravid look a lot (i.e. exactly) like the Invid from Robotech and Genesis Climber Mospeda. Are they licensed? Can’t wait to see the minis.

Dynamic? They can\'t even keep to a weekly web page update but they want to produce a monthly magazine?
Oh yeah I remember why: They wiped the entire magazine???? WTF???! Were they saving it to floppy and the dog ate it? No backups? I think that tells me what sort of company we are dealing with.
Rev and Hex may be respected members of CMON but that doesn\'t mean they dont have vested interest in the magazine. I take what they say with a pinch of salt.
I know you all want the magazine to be a success but you can\'t ignore things like this. I would save the cash and buy it when (if... ) it hits the newsagents.
Who needs a magazine anyway - its just gonna be pics of figures - there are 17000 of them here on CMON. Not enough for you? Save a tree, surf the net!

I will say this once more for the hard of hearing (or reading)...
I do not have ANY \'vested\' interest in Harbinger whatsoever. I am acquainted with the guys, that\'s all. As I am no longer in employment with them in ANYWAY, I cannot be associated with them other than as an acquaintance.
There, that\'s cleared that one up.
You\'ve got valid points about the magazine, genuine concerns, but let me tell you, you know nothing about me as you never post in these forums and have never spoken to me before. Do not make assumptions about me.
Otherwise yes, good points. Just cut out the assumptions.

Just a suggestion...
This annoying little fly is clearly determined to continue pushing his point, now whilst I know CA will intervene when necessary, might I suggest that we all just pretend he doesn\'t exist and, with a bit of luck, he will take up the skateboard or something?
Continuing to respond to his posts only draws attention to him and assists him in achieving his own ends. Whilst I would not normally suggest that a CMON member is \'sent to Coventry\' I feel it is apposite in this case.:moon:
