People that apply for such a job and/or accept it KNOW that there is some kind of risk involved.
Wouldn\'t it stand to reason that if people KNOW the penalties for their actions (murder, rape) then they should accept the penalties involved?
By knowing the consequences and doing the act anyway, is acknowledging that you are willing to accept those consequences.
And if the fear of death isn\'t enough to stop you from murdering, then I seriously doubt the idea of life in a prison cell with all the side benefits will.

Guns and other weapons need to be regulated, people shouldn\'t have guns to protect themselves from other people who have guns.
OK, so I decide to murder someone. Do you honestly think that the charge of carrying an illegal weapon will stop me if I\'m ready to accept the charge of murder?
Honestly, I\'d rather be shot than stabbed or bludgeoned to death, just a personal preferance.
