Tracy, your efforts will certainly be needed. With the light this morning (after a harrowing night for gale force winds) we awoke to the largest Red Cross disaster response in US history. What didn\'t look too bad yesterday is turning out to be a horrible disaster today. The Red Cross will need all the help it can get.
I have a very high feedback on Ebay and will be glad to put any minis up for auction for painters at no cost to them (paypal fees, ebay costs would be free). The money would be donated directly to the Red Cross in the name of the painter and the highest bidder. I would use the featured auction on CMON with full credit to the painter and cause for the duration of the auction, then delete it as soon as the auction ended.
We survived Katrina with little damage here in our part of Alabama, but know what it is to go through a bad hurricane (Ivan last year and Opal several years ago). Let us know if we can help.

Why yes we are sending out the minis and hosting the auction as a family effort So all you need do is email me your address and I will send you an elf then you paint it and mail it back with 3.00 in the box or by pay pal or what ever that will help pay the pay pal fees which is all we will be responsible for on a 100% donation Auction

We have that as the first Troop cause they were prepped and cleaned for DM OF Doom to paint before all this happened. We have them numbered assembled to rank up & primed (white hope no one minds).
So all you have to do is double check our work and paint. Can not guarantee to do that all the time but you all offered the fastest so you get the reward.

Why ?...because we have watched ebay and the regular joe pays more for spring green I guess cause it looks like the box.... really I am serious. There will be the exact color and chart to convert for all types of paint on web site.
+++Spring green Where? .... only the cloaks/cape will be in a consistent color on the the troop sets.
+++Why? cause the effort to match minis is not worth the time they do not end up all alike anyways and it cramps the style and creativity thus causing stress not worth it.
+++Bases? include some sand some where we will give a color to paint the sand then we will stay consistent. other than that create you want rocks, leaves, just no snow ok?
Weapons+++ metallics with washes or wood grain.

Cool thanks Tracy. Good to know. Just went over to the GW site and perused the Wood elf section. They have a Wood Elf Glade Guard Painting guide, but after looking at them up close the painting was/is not all that good.

If its not too late I\'d like to help out by painting a mini.
Just one thing I\'d like to mention is that I\'ve found space marines sell for more and get the most interest. But i guess its a little too late for that now. Anyway yeah...anything i can do?
