Help with NMM

Hello friends, this is my first try using NMM, but i realize that something is missing, the effect is not so well, could please some one help me?

I agree with Tommie's suggestion but you're definitely going to have to do more to sell the effect - it's hard to tell what parts have been done so far and which ones haven't. On the leg armour for example it looks a little like what'd you'd get by spraying white over black primer, not a deliberate NMM effect where you're trying to simulate a reflective surface.

In general I think you want to keep the white highlights to a minimum, so that where white is used it really shows up as bright reflections/specular highlights; also, aiming for more contrast overall would probably be a good idea.

Im just now starting into nmm and this is kinda where im at, except yours looks better than mine. Looks likes it coming along great!

Yeah more contrast also try not to take your wips on a background of similar colours.
go all the way to tiny pin points of white and black
